As soon as I saw the art style I immediately recognized it as a new Mario&Luigi game and I think most fans did too. It's just so recognizable and the way they translated it to 3D is wonderful.

Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story + Bowser Jr.'s Journey was the last game in the series before AlphaDream declared bankruptcy in 2019, and remains the latest installment in the series. Despite this, a new game, Mario & Luigi: Brothership, was announced on June 18th, 2024, and is scheduled for release on November 7th, 2024. This is from Wikipedia btw
