The "cardboard circle things" are called Pogs. They originated in Hawaii with milk bottle caps but had a brief fad resurgence in the USA in the mid 1990s. They are essentially a collectable game where you use a thicker and heavier "slammer" pog to hit the stack of normal cardboard pogs. The goal was to flip them over. There were several versions of the rules but most people would combine stacks with a friend and you got to keep whichever ones you were able to flip over.

Great to see another aussie JP toy collector. Sadly not alive or too young to even remember to see these toys upon release but I began collecting them in 2014 but stopped for a while, I had just a handful my most prized one was the TLW bull T-rex I got loose for $80 (excluding the crazy shipping price to import it here lol). He still is my favourite. I only just recently got back into collecting them and already bought a bunch now that I have my own money to spend. Funny thing how batteries back then seem to last so much longer. My T-rex still works and the JP1 electronic velociraptor I got recently also still works meanwhile some of my later Mattel JW toys already have dead batteries.

@@critterc0rner yeah the battery’s last a while didn’t that. Word of warning though sometimes the battery’s will go bad inside the toy so when you are storing them you may as take the battery’s oht

A remarkable collection. Very very great figures. Have you actually all dinosaur figures of Jurassic Park? I have not collected a few years and I am as pretty much escaped. Those cardboard discs are pogs. It was a popular game in the 90s. Kids collected them like Pokemon or baseball cards. You used the heavy disc called a "slammer" to flip a stack of the cardboard pogs over and however many you flip over you get. I think that's the rules if I remember right.

That's an awesome collection Corey! Hopefully one day you can show off some of your video game versions. I have Three Jurassic Park games. One for the Xbox and the other two for the SNES. The SNES games are Jurassic Park from and old publisher called Ocean entertainment. The "sequel" Jurassic Park: The Chaos Continues. And for the Xbox the rare Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis that is still my personal favorite JP game in the entire franchise and series (to me atleast). Used to have a couple of figures that you have and I have one last thing was a JP III licensed board game that was pretty fun in itself the whole humans vs. dinos/escape and race off the island theme. And that's pretty much it. Thanks for bringing me good memories Corey on why I still even today love and cherish Jurassic Park.

Those discs are called pogs. There should be a plastic or metal disc where you slam it onto the cardboard disc to try and flip it over :) we used to play "for keeps" so any disc flipped, we got to keep :) I'd have LOVED to add the JP pogs to my collection

3:28 those are pogs from the pogs and slammers line So the jist is that you stack up some of those cardboard pogs and you throw slammers at them Witch ever pogs are facing the uneqe picture side is for the player to keep And for those who didnt show the uneqe picture are re-stacked and its the second players turn The one with the most pogs wins
