Rating Your Dinosaur Collections - Reacts

13:10 Generally the bones are real fossils, the from the right age and everything. But assigning a chunk of fossil bone to a specific genus like Iguanodon is misleading when there's a lot of things running around during that time. It starts off like a big deal, and then once you're in the hobby for a couple years, you're just like, "a spino tooth? I've seen thousands of them and have a dozen sitting in the corner of the shelf, but that's cool I guess, it's aight . . ." The magic sort of vanishes once you come to the realization that vertebrate fossils aren't actually that rare. But isolated stuff from teeth, footprints, vertebrae, dino feathers in amber, skin impressions, to even spinosaurid jaws are obtainable for any hobbyist collector. They're generally not super rare unless it's an articulated skeleton or from an area really poor in certain fossils, like dinosaurs in an ocean deposit.

30:06 Thanks for the feedback! I'll definitely take what you said to mind. I'm glad to see that my fossil collection has been shown to the world now, lol. The collection has grown and changed since I took those pictures. I now have new display cases that still need to be put up, and I got a ton of new fossils that I collected on a one day trip to Peace River. I'd be happy to show you how everything looks once everything's set up!

2:09:11 Lol I'm glad that this came up! (It's mine btw) This toy was played with a TON, espcecially with the T-Rex, which had a hard plastic face. The Hard Plastic rex did quite a number on the Indominus, along with it's super wide jaw stretching.

Beaver, you can get beasts of the Mesozoic figures not painted, so you can paint them yourself if you’re wanting to test you painting skills on dinosaurs. At least some of them have the option of un painted versions, I know that.

The TLW Mobile Command Center was one of my few victories in childhood. After years of begging, my parents bought one for $60 in 2000 or 2001, just before they announced JPIII was coming out, and it was shipped from a seller in Canada. It was missing Kelly and the crane's hook. The seller threw in a figure of S2 Alan Grant (the one with a bolo). Years later I bought a hook for the crane off ebay for a fair price, and I got super lucky digging through a box of random toys at a flea market and bought a figure of Kelly for only a dollar!

I’ve got a Dinosaur collection that decayed overtime. I’ve lost my Imaginext ones, Schleich ones, a Patchi plush, the Ultimate Gorgon & Rio Birds. The things I have right now are Jurassic World Mattel figures, a Patchi figure & a Crazed Carnotaur figure. As a bonus My Little Pony dolls, a Rosalina Plush, Isabelle Plushies, a Spider Gwen plush, Mermaid dolls and my most favorite Twilight Sparkle Plushies. I’ve got an awesome collection!

For context for that iguanodon fossil, it was given as a gift by some rich relatives, I'm native to the UK and have never stepped foot in the US so I can't confirm it's authenticity, though I still thought it cool to show.
