You would never know that you did not enjoy working with Obsidian based on those points your knapped! The variation in the coloration is amazing. I really hope you are able to get your book published. As always, I am looking forward to the next video.

Shawn I have it on a thumb drive complete with all the accompanying photos. I should send that to you. I still need to get it edited and then printed at some point in time.

One of my favorite pieces of yours is a Basalt blade i got from u in a trade. It's the center of my "Ken Wallace Collection ". And i agree with ya on it's ability to show flake scars...simply outstanding! Keep 'em comin'...can't wait for the next one. Stay safe my friend!✌🏼😎

In paleolitikum you were a rich man, sir. These are beautiful pieces, a common memory of humankind of technology from 50 thousands years ago.

I know obsidian is shiny but do you apply anything to the finished blade? They are absolutely beautiful! How do you make such intricate curves without breaking them into a million pieces?

The shine you see in these pieces are just how the obsidian turns out. Nothing is applied to make it shinier. You can pressure flake those curves into obsidian if you don't apply too much pressure and pop the flakes off.
