Yup.... been there, done that. From kindergarten to 8th grade. You do it for your daughter.....just do it. The memories/pictures are priceless. Sure, she went off with her friends but hanging with the other fathers was OK. Practicing and showing my daughter how to swing dance was good.....by 6th , 7th, and 8th grade we were pretty good dance partners. (I feel sorry for her future prom date(s) if they step on her toes!)

ffs its a child. these are usually an elementary school thing so OF COURSE they wanna hang out with their friends, its a CHILD. shes not doing it to be selfish dude she is just excited to be dressed up and seeing her friends is fun.
