Hast du jetzt noch diesen Handheld Gimbal G3? Wäre nice, damit so eine Fahrt aufzunehmen... ;)
@Schaaf9 жыл бұрын
@nilsmichaeljoseph9 жыл бұрын
+Schaaf uuuuuund Chinmount mit WG? Ist wahrscheinlich zu schwer und windanfällig... Aber mit dem Clamp-Teil müsste es doch jetzt gehen, oder?

As always i really enjoyed this video. Exciting riding style although maybe a bit risky, but hey that's you i guess ;) You actually have to ride this one to get a sense how narrow it really is. I was there this summer but sadly it was raining and it do was a bit scary. I just kept asking myself your last few videos if you were riding alone on this trip?
@Schaaf9 жыл бұрын
+Tom FZ thanks Tom! Yea, especially because the fisheye lens makes every sharp corner look like a 100mph+ sweeper ;) No, only during the first three days because that's the time it took me to get to my meetup-point near Bergamo, Italia.
@thfazi19 жыл бұрын
+Schaaf So it looks faster? On my hero2 it always looked so damn boring.. Well maybe it's not all down to the camera ;) Anyway, looking forward to next season. I have to ride this rode in dry conditions for once at least :D keep those videos coming!
@Schaaf9 жыл бұрын
+Tom FZ well regarding speed it's good and bad. In certain areas (riding through forests for example) it looks faster because of the superwide angle there's so much scenery flying past the screen left and right. But like I said EVERY corner looks so incredibly wide plus you're not at all able to indicate the bike's lean. I'd say it looks faster than what it actually is on the straights and slower going through corners ehehe ;)

I'd have to ride these roads twice. Once slowly to appreciate the scenery and second time at Schaaf speed. The trip would take twice as long, but I wouldn't care.
@Schaaf9 жыл бұрын
+Rod Brakes I usually do the same thing. Maybe even 3 to 4 runs, depending on how much filming gear I have with me. But always one run just for myself and to also inspect the road for hazards. This time I couldn't because I was in a hurry (lost almost 3 hrs on that day due to the issues with my swing arm protection and the chain) and my "touring-mode" pace is not that quick anyway so I was OK with the scenic views I had time for during the straight parts ;)

@Schaaf9 жыл бұрын
+vitaly deuterium the CB500 has three rear wheel bearings, the middle one was gone. There was no imminent danger. Only slow corners were tricky. But since slow corner speeds are far from lethal anyway I didn't bother not to ride my bike.

So your bike is a complete hooligan-machine now? I just crashed my litle PC32 and the fuel inlet membrane broke. At least I hope so. Will take time to get new parts, but whinter is coming, so that's not so bad. Either way, I would never ride with broken steering and brakes. Doesn't sound like fun or worth the trip-money..
@Schaaf9 жыл бұрын
I only have very few riding opportunities each season. this one in August was my only one to get into the mountains for instance. I'd never let go of such a chance for another year just because my bike is not at a 100%. I'm used to working with cheap and half broken equipment in many aspects of my life. But I would never ride if there was imminent danger. The steering issues were calculable just like the brakes though so of course I went to enjoy the trip. My definition of taking risks sure is different from average but I'm no lunatic either. Of course I got my bike.fixed. after the trip btw.
@CafeineCrewOfficial9 жыл бұрын
+Schaaf what's up with the brakes?
@Schaaf9 жыл бұрын
+CafeineCrewOfficial I need much more force on the brake lever than usual. Changed the brake fluid three times, changed pads and disc, didn't help. I think the caliper itself is age-worn. Bought a new used one already and will see if it brings improvement next season.
