12:12 “I miss them” here is less of a revelation that she misses them and more of an affirmation that she’s going to do something about it. She was losing hope and felt darkness creeping into the cracks of her heart. She was contemplating giving in, but stopped herself by reaffirming her love for her friends and her desire to see them again and to keep them safe. If you were to extend the line, it’d go like: “I miss them, and I’m not going to let darkness stop me from reuniting with them and fulfilling my promises to them.” but I feel this is all conveyed through her tone of voice. It’s one of my favorite line reads in all of KH, and what makes Aqua one of my top characters :)

People give Mickey a lot of shit for not going back to save Aqua sooner, and I get it, I love Aqua as much as the next person and that one choice line is really stupid, but he did tell Yen Sid as soon as he got back who told him not to tell anyone, it wasn't his call, and even then, I kind of understand the logic behind it. Like, when they get out of the Realm of Darkness, they end up in Castle Oblivion, and when they finally escape from there, Uh Oh, Sora's on life support, so when Mickey tells Yen Sid, I kind of get him being like "Okay, that's important, but right now we need to focus on saving Sora, so we'll take care of saving Aqua right after," and to be fair, that's pretty much what he does. Re:coded happens in between Two's end cutscenes, the 3D is right after, and 0.2 is right after that. It's kind of funny to think about because one whole year passes between One and Two, but there's only like a week at most between Two and Three. It's also funny in a sad way how there's a whole scene in Three where Mickey is depressed because he basically has survivor's guilt and people use that to be like "You should be sad."

In general, Bbs 0.2 was a sort of demo for KH3 and they showing how the game is with Unreal Engine, most likely it wasn't really part of the original plan to have this game

It wasn't it was originally going to be the prologue to KH3, the same way Roxas' section is to KH2 but eventually it grew too big and decided to split them and add more polish to 0.2 (and the whole wardrobe deal) so to not distract from the main game

"Why is that a weakness?" *two seconds later* "I miss my friends." Why did she say that like its a revelation? She did so because she is realising its not truly a weakness. Its not specifically stated but shes a number of years into her stay in the RoD so at that point she was questioning if her chasing her friendship was a weakness in the end. The revelation is that its not a weakness to want her friends. Its heart wrenching like most things in this series when rewatched with context. Like Lea and Isas relationship and the gravitas on watching back at Axel telling Saix to keep his mouth shut in 358/2 days.

The reason why it was Sora's "fault" that he almost fell to darkness is because he only fell in to the darkest abyss because he didn't listen to Riku's warnings and followed the images in his dreams recklessly deeper in to sleep. That is what Yen Sid is referring to

Also to prove the mouse is really more of a rat, when he tells Aqua how he made it into the realm of Darkness, it implies he found a world on the verge of falling or allowed a world to fall in order to enter. I'm not entirely sure but from what I understand, Mickey enetered the RoD when during KH1 he traveled to some worlds and waited for them to be swallowed by Darkness. Probably the Country of the Musketeers from what Sora says in DDD. But still not completely sure.

Like the series or the actual lore thing in the series? If you mean the latter, it's basically the series' source of primordial godly power that I think is basically the origin of all light in the universe. It became sealed away in darkness thanks to the keyblade war that caused darkness to seperate the world but if someone ever rediscovered it, they would have access to power and knowledge that would effectively let them rewrite reality. Worth noting that the Kingdom Hearts that we've seen in KH1 and KH2 are artificial constructions made by gathering a massive number of hearts together to replicate that power. The Kingdom Hearts that Xehanort pursues in BBS and KH3 are the true Kingdom Hearts, which requires the X-blade to unlock it. If you meant the former, well, there's a lot of KZbin videos that can help with that.
