ok yes!!! i thought i was the only one who had trouble w the our place pan after a couple of months bc i kept seeing so many glowing reviews. glad to know i wasn't the only one but also sad that i found out the hard way lol
@KarenSanchez-dc2ij4 жыл бұрын
i had problems with the nonstick as well and if you email them their customer service is really cool! They’re sending me a new one in exchange for this old one that I’ve had issues with.
@mzudsiri4 жыл бұрын
Omg yes! I also debated during the holidays the price was so good! But after many reviews and also watching Test Kitchen just talk about ceramic pans. They're just not good for high heat and it will ruin the surface faster over time. So unless you're only using low heat it's not the best option. I also don't think it's ovenproof right?

something i just got last year that i love is a scraper tool i got for washing dishes, it's so good because now i dont have to use my nails and i always hated using sponges or things like that because then the bits of food get stuck in it which is gross, i got a set of bamboo ones from a low waste shop but theres like plastic ones too so just depends what you prefer...those kitchen shears are beautiful! and i love that they can come apart....also glad you mentioned the always pan, i personally feel it's a bit gimmicky but i know a lot of people love it,,,i only cook certain things in my nonstick pans to prolong their life and wash my different kitchen items in ways that help preserve them

@lori67044 жыл бұрын
Make sure you're not using soap and water! Salt and water will really take so much off of it. Once you're done cleaning it, season it with a high heat oil (just spray/drop oil in it and spread with a cloth!).

@chrissstttiiine4 жыл бұрын
I am my own dishwasher 😅 I used the sponge the pan came with and made sure I never went past medium heat but that still happened AND I’ve asked all my friends with the pan if they’ve had any issues with it and they all said the same thing. Incredible marketing, phenomenal design, but does not stand the test of time.

I loveee iron skillets and my love has only grown deeper. it really isn't that hard to make it nonstick, and to clean. i followed reddit instructions and mostly clean it with just coarse salt and it's so satisfying and i hate dishwashing and am weak af and i still think iron skillets are worth it. i have a non-enamel dutch oven too and it's so hardy and so much cheaper than enamel ones. stuff like our place ends up unfortunately being a bunch of classic millennial (hi, me a millennial) aesthetically pleasing marketing #blandbrands. but it's a disappointment how they're willing to sell this either without enough due diligence or knowing that it would break down rapidly. for me, i think the next thing i'm coveting is a fish spatula! i don't really eat fish anymore but i heard it's the most versatile spatula.
