I believe you are using the fishnet incorrectly. They get in from the loop and out from other end of the sleeve. This way they don't get injured going backwards 0:33

Jeremy, thanks for the comments, I'm pretty well versed in how to use a Koi sock. Your comment is completely valid if they were larger fish, fish of this size are not going to get injured they way i did it.

Les, very small, very ordinary, very old. Was built over 30 years ago in the summer of 1988 when i was 16. A few years ago liner replaced, slightly enlarged, bottom drain added and EazyPod Automatic. It serves a purpose to hold the parents and a few others.

Ahh okey dokey , would still be nice to see but all good . You inspired me to try to breed my koi last year. They are about 15 yrs old and I had read that older females eggs are too hard for sperm to penetrate (only bred them once when they were about 4yrs old) but yeah I had decent success. I was going for yellow ogon X shusui to get Ki shusui and I do have 5 that look the part so pretty happy with that. So yeah cheers for the inspiration mate

beautiful Ginrin goshiki there! cant wait till you post the fry and developments of them :D should be dark/white fry i guess ?( kohaku is white) ghosiki is a dark fish.. what do you think.
@MarkGardnerNTVfree4 жыл бұрын
Laurence, my experience of Goshiki in Japan and USA is that they are light offspring, even if they later develop as dark fish. Time will tell..........
