FYI ... Both my wife and I watch the 7 am upload every morning. She is in her space and I'm in mine so no discussion until we meet in the kitchen for morning oatmeal. I'm putting chocolate in the oatmeal this morning. I may be making oatmeal twice today! :-)

Gorham is a cool little town. back in 2016 i met my first Thur hikers at the Mc Donalds. at first i though they were homeless. but a couple in the restuarant was talking about how they were hiking the Appalachian Trail. The next day I talked to a few more hikers at the trailhead. They peaked my interest about the AT. In March 2017 I was following white blazes myself. you never know the effect you can have when you take time and speak to others when hiking.

Just recently came across your channel. I started April 1 on a thru hike and had to get off due to finances at Roanoke. Don’t think we crossed paths unless you stopped by the Riff-Raff bonfire at Trail Days…but I’ve been binging your recent videos of the Whites, because after the VA Triple Crown, that’s the section I’m most looking forward to and scared of! Lol! Hoping to finish the remaining 1400 miles starting next June. Gotta do some of my own trail magic, enjoy Trail Days 24, and wait for a bubble to reach Daleville before jumping back on…ohh and make more $$$. 😂. Loving your videos in the meantime! -UpDown NOBO 23

Stella had truly horrible bugs the last few days of Maine. She was wearing all her jackets and pants in the heat because they were so bad. So if you have a chance to permethrin your gear and get deet I would do it. She said the people who did that weren’t suffering nearly as much. Not sure how far ahead of your videos you are but thought I’d mention it in case you have time to do something about it.
