First off, you are already an artist. The job of art school is to help you develop your talent and not make you a clone of someone else. One of the biggest benefits of you going to art school will be that you will have more models to paint from, and the more diverse your models are, the more you will learn. Hang it in there, it is going to be great.

If you get busy in college, you could always do portfolio review videos at the end of every semester. You could also do Timelapse’s I think pretty easily as well for shorts

Okay so as an artists who is now almost 30 I just want you to know that there are a lot of artists who grow frustrated with art school where it drains the fun out of painting for them, because they don't like the rigidity of it or are too occupied with pleasing the teachers. If you ever feel like that's happening to you, don't be afraid to quit that art program. The connections you make to other artists are worth gold but the actual art degree is literally worthless. What you have managed to create here and on other platforms is something that some artists struggle to get for their entire lives. You are already miles ahead with the online following that you have so don't neglect it. But most importantly remember to have fun at college!

We're really excited to see your work develop as you soak up every challenge headed your way! Art school is such a great opportunity to expose yourself to materials, methods, and processes that you would never be able to try otherwise. You'll get to draw from live models all the time (something you'll miss a lot after you graduate), and you'll be making connections with lifelong friends who will also be colleagues and professional peers. Try to get the most from every critique, not because those opinions will necessarily change your work, but because they will train you how to think critically. Can't wait to see this chapter unfold!

I love orange too, I also love blue, makes it even better that they’re complimentary colors. I think this is one of my personal favorites of yours. Best of luck in college! I used to paint my insecurities too. Decided not everyone notices what I notice. It’s just you and it’s all perfect! But you can just put some retinol serum for a few weeks on that milia and it will go away.
