I had the same problem with too short sleeves on a similar top. I unpicked the elastic channel, cut a separate elastic casing from spare fabric and added that to the bottom of the sleeves using a smaller seam allowance and that gave me just enough length

Your blouse turned out beautiful - I have this pattern and would love you to do a sewalong especially as you mentioned the keyhole can be tricky (even if you just did a demonstration on that part of the pattern).

I think the sleeves are perfect lengthwise. I like long sleeves too. I don't really like elasticated cuffs though and on a couple of blouses I've made with elastic at the bottom of the sleeve, I added a proper cuff and I made the mistake of not shortening the sleeves enough, so they covered nearly all my hand, so way too long 🙄 I always have some modifications or other to do on every sewing project🤣

A beautiful blouse. I do like the longer sleeves. Three quarter sleeves annoy mye. I keep trying to pull them down to my wrist!! I would need a blouse with more of an opening as I tend to panic in things which need to be pulled over my head! There again, if I used a stretchy fabric I think this blouse would be just wonderful. Thank you, your blouse looks fabulous on you, well, everything does!

Beautiful! Is it possible to do the round back adjustment on a back pattern on the fold? I thought it had to be a two piece back pattern

I've just watched the round back and shoulders adjustment videos. Your hairstyle now is SO much nicer and more flattering! Also a couple of queries: 1) does the centre back neck line come slightly in - off the grain line? I often have the problem of the back neck gaping. 2) Do you then also move the shoulder points for an armhole facing or sleeve?

Thank you Claire, it was fab, just what we needed. We are just down the M42, but we are a warehouse and not a physical shop I'm afraid so we aren't able to offer browsing. However, we do have a showroom for our sewing machines and you can book a demonstration for those if you ever need one. We can also do click and collect and refund any postage if you're in the area and let us know you would like to collect.
