As we get further into Autumn lawns do lose some colour, this video explains to you what is going on and hopefully, after watching it you shouldn't be worried about a lack of colour in your lawn. Hi Scott, this lawn is always pretty dry. When i made the lawn 20 years ago, we used 20 ton of 70/30.

Hi Robbie, I started using a autumn/winter fertilizer last years on some of my customers lawns, it was difficult to know if it did have a beneficial effect but it is something that i will continue using.

@@Premier_lawns_official I did see that video already and bought a pack of ammonia sulphate from B&Q. It is soluble and I was using about 30grm per watering can, 10 litres. I was very aware of your scorching comments, so I may have underfed the lawn. If I do it again, what do you recommend by liquid route? Say I dissolve 30grm in my 10 litre can, how many metres would that cover!

I have a dog and concerned about him going on the lawn after feeding. Do you keep your dog off or are your feeds safe for him. What rate of seaweed do you use per M2. Ilowered my dose rate because he has got pyoderma on his paws and legs.

Its the same thing, you dilute the granules with water and it should instruct you how much of each to use on the box/bottle.

And in future if you like, get yourself a barrel and take a trip to a beach somewhere and pick the loose seaweed, fill the barrel 3/4 with seaweed and the rest with water, leave it for a few weeks and you have yourself some liquid fertiliser, you can also add some nettles if you like. Cheap and cheerful

Yes you should be worried. The main reason is that you have a lawn. It should be a vegetables garden for your personal healthy food supply, or a green house for the same reason. so yerp, you should be worried... lol
