Isn't an aeration hole too deep for seeds to fall in and germinate?

Thank you. I will be over seeding tomorrow (weather permitting). I have a machine to scarify but I have to spread the seed and compost top dressing by hand. I usually just roll my mower roller over to firm the seeds in. It will take me a while but should be worth it. I have a few patches of weed grasses I will dig out and reseed.

Great advice Robbie 💯 I find a good trick to getting good good high paying clients is by making them wait... What I mean by that is giving at least 7-14days lead time, maybe longer. That way the customers who value my time and my services are happy to wait and the customers who just want a quick fix move simply on. Definitely want to start networking more, speaking to other people in the industry is what has helped me grow over the years 💪🏾🙌🏾

Hey, is mixing seeds and topsoil in the compost roller still a good thing? In your last videos you are using a spreader first and then top dressing with bear topsoil. In past videos you used the topsoil with seeds in the roller. Just trying to figure out if I actually need to buy a spreader as well….thanks a lot!
@Premier_lawns_official
@Premier_lawns_official 5 күн бұрын
You can mix the seed in with the soil, you will use more seed than you need, but it will work well If you didn't send the lawn and put it in the spreader, then you might not get ideal coverage as you have less control Do you need to put the seed into the spreader? Only if you want to

Hello, we have just scarified our grass and a similar amount of thatch has come up, we didn't use it on the deepest setting. Would you recommend that we do and go for it? We get lots of boggy patches in winter and really hoping the more we do the more it will drain. Is it okay to scarify in spring AND winter until it's not pulling up a tonne of thatch? Thank you in advance, really enjoy watching your videos x

I think it's so rude for people to do that .do it on your own lawn or in your backyard

So I've got a 310m2 lawn, according to the calcs Ammonium sulphate at 2.5 grams per metre square = 775g Iron at 2g per metre square = 620g Water at 0.06l per metre square = 18.6l My knapsack sprayer is only 5l. Do I divide all the quantities by 4 and do it all in 4 runs on my lawn?

It's too hard to say to be honest. What I would say is to start high It can be done at both spring and autumn, so if you do it and aren't too sure and want to air on the side of caution and feel you didn't take enough out, just do it the again in the spring Lawn care should be fun , so don't sweat it 👍
