Man watching stuart and jimmy bowl i will miss those days. It's end of an era. I feel really sad he retired like this. Maybe he should have waited to get to 619 wickets and get past anil kumble. I just feel a bit hurt that one of my favorite cricketers didn't decided to continue on. He surely had atleast 3 more years in him. But I wish him the best for the future. You will always be a legend.

What incredible servants to English cricket Stuart Broad, Jimmy Anderson and the under recognised Chris Woakes have been. They have never dropped below complete commitment to the cause. Broad the showman, capable of devastating spells, Anderson the master of skillful swing and seam and Woakes the ever willing workhorse and skillful all rounder. I cannot express my admiration for these guys enough. Happy retirement Stuart. Get the tally up above 700 Jimmy and Chris I hope you get the recognition and appreciation you deserve - man of the series is a good start. Fantastically well done all of you!

I think as the years have gone by, people gradually realised how great Broad is. The easy to overlook stat is 3,662 test runs, the bloke was an all-rounder in disguise.

The wickets and milestones are another thing but he was always a guy of bringing moments to cherish... All those comparing him with others and degrading him for sixes dont realise he will always be remembered for the moments more than his stats (which are incredible)... Rarely do we get players like him... Be it: 8-15 Celebrappeals Turning the game into englands favour Batting 169 Hitting those massive consecutive sixes to varun aaron All the moments on stump mic Managing crowd in these ashes (where can i find a video? Couldnt hear what he was saying) Marnus and him at lords And many more! ❤❤ He will bring more of these moments in commentary box ❤❤❤

I'm not sure why but I never keen on his bowling, I always preferred Anderson, but after hearing him this series and after what he said to the Aussies after the Bairstow incident, he went way up in my estimations. I suspect it was because I am a massive fan of KP. Enjoy your retirement Stuart.
