Climbing Sherpa Sonam Bhote was born in a small hamlet called 'Sandakphu' Nepal. On 15th of May 2006, Bhote not only scaled the top of the Mt. Everest for the first time in his life but he also launched the English Poetry Book titled, "Bards' Sketches". The main intention behind launching a book on top of the World was to prove to the world that, Sherpas and Tibetans who are basically regarded as Mountaineer and High Altitude Porter that, besides climbing they also possess caliber in literature. Further, they want to arouse the awareness among Sherpas and Tibetans about the poetry.
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)

*3:00** How they sent an inexperienced person up the Everest?* It would have risked everybody's life and the other sherpas were right to try to send him back. Poor guys these Sherpas are being lured by money doing such risky job.

St0rm Tr00pers That's not the case. we're proud of having him alright? moreover you cannot judge the entire Nepalese community by looking at one person. My comment ain't rude. I just expressed my opinion. I didn't say anything bad about him so you cannot say that. I am very proud being Nepalese. you need not to tell me ananything Thank you

They live in a higher altitude and have more red blood cells as a result, so they are not as oxygen deprived as those living closer to sea level.
