As a second generation trucker, and Musician, and flatbed driver, I can relate to what you're going through. You got the right attitude rookie... And keep practicing your backing up, because that is a skill that most new drivers lack, but is one of the most important ones to have. Best wishes.

Hey man, I'll be heading to Melton for boot camp this weekend actually and same boat as you, just out of CDL school. I'm just glad I don't have to fight with manuals anymore should make things simpler, stay safe out there.

Fun and resourceful content! Is it true melton trucks have camera inside the truck to monitor your activities? That would make me feel pretty uncomfortable tbh.

The camera only goes off when it gets triggered with things like bumps, sudden braking, and jerking motions with the truck. Thanks for watching!

I am happy to follow your journey, Brother. I skydived for 23 years since I was 16. It's all I knew. But with this recession, I had to find other work. Just got out of CDL school, and Melton called me back. Orientation in a couple weeks. I have a wife and 2 daughters I need to care for, too. Im ready to work hard. They can run me all over. Im ready 😂

hey brother!! what part of Florida you from? im trying to melton and others companies, but they all keep saying they dont hire someone from south Florida. how you did it?

I was in Miami briefly but I got hired while I lived in Georgia. The further south you go in Florida the more difficult it is to get loads outta there. Keep looking through you will find something if you haven’t yet
