@THAT GOES WHERE?!? I’ve been a tech for about two years or so now. Really depends on the lab of course but for Washington state it’s about 20-25 for certified tech/non certified and 25+ for registered techs. But it depends on the current circumstance of the lab lol

@THAT GOES WHERE?!? yes the pay is good/decent. I make 28 an hour. To become an NP you need to go to nursing school (RN) then get your masters degree. So it's a lot of school, but will be worth it i hope!

It is not as hard for us Night owls but society runs on 9-5 jobs and that doesn’t help with doing basic errands on my schedule. I have to go out in the morning’s bright sun after work and do them. Then I don’t want to sleep after being in the sun.

@@maxamerimaka Well, I graduated last May. I live in Oregon & I started out at $17 hourly. 2nd clinic I made $20 hourly. Now 3rd clinic working in Dermatology currently making $25 hourly + great benefits (free health insurance), paid vacation, etc. Honestly I kinda just got lucky....🤷‍♀️ but I ❤️ what I'm doing now. Really depends on which state you live in. In Washington for example (where I live) you can work without being registered and make $20-25 an hour. Depends also on the lab and how needed they are with techs. If you look on the BRPT there are pages where you look for more info

When I was in San Diego, the rate were around $30-40+ per hour with more than 5 years experience. In Los Angeles, it’s common to see $45+ per hour work. But if you’re just starting, of course, you will start lower. But L.A. is definitely one of the highest paying counties I’ve ever worked at.
