Her Legacy is that she will be remembered as part of the Old Nyc. All of those creators and shakers who during that era, helped to make nyc and its surrounding areas, what they were. She is a part of nyc history and that is forever. There is no greater honour than to be a living legend and part of that city’s ongoing legacy.

Suzanne has such a talent! Not just as a performance artist but her costumes and the details she manages to put into them are fantastic. I did first hear of her from her nemesis’s show a long time ago but I’ve developed so much respect for her. I wish people would take her and her work (dancing, designing, costumes, cakes, her vast knowledge on certain subjects…) seriously. I know she is on the “spectrum” but so many creative people are. It’s also great to see her smile and genuinely enjoying herself at parts. Thank you for making this. Congratulations on all of your work Suzanne - you deserve all the praise you get and so much more!

@@questionablepersonalitiesp675 I’m just curious - has Suzanne ever created a dance performance on any Scottish subjects or myths? I’ve spotted her Celtic costume and just wondered what routine or character it was from. I’m sure Suzanne would find a lot of inspiration from Scottish history, characters and myths. I really hope she is still choreographing new routines! Again, all the best from Edinburgh! Steven

At times it seems like a documentary within a documentary; very fitting for a video that aims to reveal what's underneath the many layers that make up its complicated subject. The animation at @22.20 is beautifully done. Perfectly fits the image of this ethereal figure gliding along the warm beach cloaked in black. It fits a Charles Addam’s cartoon but the design is beautifully reminiscent of Edward Gorey. A nice touch by the filmmakers! Incidentally, Edward Gorey designed the sets and costumes for an entire Broadway production of Dracula in 1979(?) starring Frank Langella, completely in black and white to make the entire play look like a collection of his sketches. It all seems to tie together in the end!
@questionablepersonalitiesp675 Жыл бұрын
How is this for a coincidence: I used to teach animation at the same high school that Frank Langella graduated from. One of my animation students at the time, (Rebecca Rojer) did that animated piece.

@@questionablepersonalitiesp675 I sure would like to see the ongoing progress on her Underdog Diamond Anniversary costume! Where does she get her ideas for the 'motifs' that she adds? Do the motifs have a meaning or some significance to the design? Where does she find her materials (gems, beads, lace, fabric)? That silver/rainbow/diamond fabric is awesome. What's going on with that wall of cats? How often does she add to it? When she's not interviewing with you, what fills her days other than sewing?

At 41:26, you hear about how she browbeat the parade people until she was FINALLY given a trophy. Then, at 41:59, she has the GALL to say that only the very best can get trophies and be recognized, and heaven forbid you get anything less than that… it seems that she doesn’t do these things for the pure joy of it, but rather she only has any joy or value attached when she is recognized with some sort of prize or celebrity, and it HAS to be the RIGHT recognition. This lady has serious issues, it’s really sad.

I’m very sorry for the way she was treated by her parents growing up, but “Underdog Lady” opens herself up to ridicule with actions such as these.
