Very interesting words you say about fear. I've come across that topic, and people views are divided for sure. It's never been a fear that lead me to repentance or helped me change. It's always been the love of God. Even when I was living in full rebellion, it was always his love that brought me back, not the fear of hell or wrath. I've heard the scripture you say being told in another context when it comes to fear and trembling. I just haven't been able to relate that view, but I'm always curious and fascinated to know why people beleive what they do and their testemonies about it.

@newlifenewlife456 I was always confused on it as well until I received clarity! I got saved out of the New Age in 2018. Jesus saved me with His grace and mercy! Nothing I did to deserve His love or grace for I was a terrible sinner! He didn't have to, but He did. I had an encounter with Jesus and felt His presence, His joy, His majesty, His love, His power etc! All by faith and not by my own works. It was awesome. However, once I was saved, I know now who He truly is... you go into seeking Him with fear and trembling... not the same fear as a phobia which hinders progress... but with a fear of reverence for mighty power, His holiness, His authority to give life or give death. Jesus is love BUT he deserves all our praise because praise reminds us that we are not equal to Jesus. Although He humbled himself... I am more in humility of His presence. A respect for the Almighty one. Now you work your salvation through fear and trembling. Just like a kid wants to please his parents or teacher... we do the same with God! Respect, admiration, reverence, in awe. Just like if we were to meet a celebrity in real life. Fear and trembling. Maybe we might even jumble our words.

We are not worthy to stand in the presence of holiness... and yet through Jesus, He makes us worthy and righteousness to do so. This was so edifying when she spoke about her parents. Those of us whom have been born again with spiritual eyes can often times get frustrated when trying to get unsaved loved ones to listen. In my case loved ones whom believe they are saved Christians that task becomes ever more so difficult but we must remember they are deceived and it isn't our jobs to convince them it's Gods we are just supposed to love them and pray for them. Hi, Margie! I love your eyeglasses, btw! But I really love your story of coming to place your faith in our Saviour, Jesus Christ! When you mentioned Ephesians 2:8 & 9, my heart just about melted because that is such a special verse to me! I very recently learned something important about rightly dividing Paul's letters that I hadn't heard before; that there were no regular - or pagan - Gentiles like us (and everyone today) in any of Paul's churches in the Acts period, and possibly not after Acts either, as there is no evidence for it in Scripture. Paul's churches contained only Jews still obeying the Law of Moses and Greeks that had blessed Israel like Cornelius in Acts 10 had, and so were welcomed into the synagogues where Paul held his teaching ministry. But in order to be kosher (clean) enough for them (the Greeks) to sit next to observant Jews in those synagogues, the Greeks were asked to obey those ordinances that the Jerusalem Council handed to Paul for them in Acts 15. So pagans that weren't keeping kosher (like us) would not have been allowed inside any of the churches in Acts. What this means is that the doctrine that was being taught by Paul was directed to Jews under Law (Acts 21:20) and Greeks under ordinances, but not to Gentiles like us today (pagans not obeying Jewish law) so nothing required of the members of Paul's churches can be applied to us at all except in the most general way such as what Christ had done at Calvary, etc. Paul's congregations were told to "do works meet for repentance" (Acts 26:20 KJV); but we believers in Christ today know that we are saved by a gospel of grace without works (Ephesians 2:8 & 9 KJV) so what that means is that until after Acts 28:28-31 where the nation of Israel rejected their Messiah for the final time and forfeited her kingdom hope forever, Gentiles resembling you and me did not exist in God's plans at that point! It wasn't until Paul saw the fruit of his announcement in Acts 28:28 that "salvation" would be "sent unto the Gentiles [that's us!], and that they [we] will "hear it," that we formerly lawless, bloody meat-eating, pagan god-worshipping Gentiles were suddenly made eligible to be saved at all! There is no record in the New Testament of any pagan Gentiles being invited or even allowed to trust Christ and receive eternal life! But thanks be to God that completely changed when Acts came to a close and at that point everyone on earth, that had not already been saved by faith in God or his Messiah-Son, Jesus Christ, became an unsaved individual (Colossians 3:11 KJV) offered the free gift (as you so eloquently called it) of Ephesians 2:8 & 9, that can never be forfeited for any reason after we receive it (Ephesians 4:30 KJV) because we're sealed with the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 1:13, 14 KJV)! When you truly understand this, that we would not have been allowed to be saved until after the end of the Acts period, then reading things that sound super-legalistic or frightening in the scriptures written before Acts 28 is not nearly as confusing as it used to be! Those things were written to Jews and Greeks - NOT us! Everything written is for our learning and our knowledge of God's character and authority but God doesn't want us confused about our identity in Christ or by our trying to make things that were told to Jews and Greeks fit our Christian lives today. Understanding this will free your soul and your heart up to experience unspeakable joy and security in Jesus Christ! Most pastors of Christian churches either don't understand this - or they don't WANT to understand this because it's very difficult to control their congregations and get them to empty their wallets into the collection plate when the members of their flock understand that we believers today are not Israel and not under any laws or commandments, other than that we should seek to walk worthy of the gift we've been given! Israel's end time prophecy has been canceled due to their rejection of their Bridegroom but all humans that have ever lived that have had faith in God and/or his Son and what they were accomplishing during that human's lifetime will have a place reserved for them in "the kingdom of his dear Son" (Colossians 1:13 KJV) - not Israel's kingdom but the kingdom that Jesus has inherited from his Father and that he will receive from his Father when he appears back on earth (Colossians 3:4 KJV) - and of which we that have trusted God and his Son are his fellow heirs (Ephesians 3:6 KJV) who together with the saints of time past will make the "one new man" of Ephesians 2:15 KJV. All of this awesome information is revealed by the mystery that Paul received - Ephesians 3:9 KJV - that has replaced all unfulfilled prophecy with a new plan that includes former pagans like you and me joined with the Jewish and Greek saints that have loved God and his Son Jesus Christ just like we do! This is why I was just thrilled to hear you cite Ephesians 2:8 & 9! I thought, "Halleluiah! She's got it!" I look forward to meeting you in that kingdom of God's dear Son, which I believe will be this earth but restored to its original pre-fall of Adam glory! It's going to be so wonderful, amen? I've heard these people tell amazing stories of how Jesus is their friend, how they talk everyday and have an actual relationship with him. However, I've been seeking Jesus but I haven't found him. I truly long to know Jesus. I wish I'll know him the way you guys do. Maybe it's because I'm still a sinner? Maybe I'm doing something wrong? Maybe I've found him already but I don't know? Please could someone advise me on how I'll know if I'm already saved. If no, then what steps can I take to be saved and have a relationship with Jesus? Thanks.

Hello friend! Have you given your life to Jesus, accepted him as your saviour and Lord? If you haven’t, pray to him and surrender to him - read Romans 10. He loves you and wants you to come to him. I also suggest you ask him to fill you with the Holy Spirit. I’m the kind of person hasn’t really had drastic encounters, dreams and such. But I have experienced incredible answers to prayer and felt the Lord lifting my burdens when I’ve been in dark places, and I’ve felt his presence. I am not perfect but I believe by faith that he saved me. Part of that is resolving that no matter what I feel, I trust what the Bible says: that I am a child of God through faith in Jesus, he has made me righteous, that he cleanses me from all unrighteousness when I confess to him, that he rewards those who diligently seek him. I talk to him, and I’m learning to hear him speak to me. When you read scripture, talk to him as if he’s right there with you while you’re reading. Talk to him if you’re out in nature, thank him for his creation. These things help me be aware of his presence in and with me.

You are not doing anything wrong. He will save you as you are. Jesus said it only the sick that need a doctor. He came to seek and save the lost. A genuine prayer to receive Jesus into you heart is all you need. Revelations 3:20. God does not have a particular formulae for saving everyone. You may or may not experience the same things they did. He is sovereign. The fact that you are listening to all these testimonies and being encouraged is God is drawing you to himself. Just pray to receive him into your life. He is just a prayer away. John 3:16. Believing and following Jesus here on this earth assures you of your eternity. Get a Bible and read that is God's love letter to you. Hope that was helpful.

With God's people no matter you know or not he's there and will forever be through it all and I got a story that will really touch people hearts my dad is a pastor now which I never had really had him in my life but prays mean everything and even though I didn't have him he's making up for it now and I grew up in a life of the enemy trying to get and still try I just need a place to tell my story I said I would please give me the chance to honor our savior

Can I be on the show I got a testimony that will really hit home with alot of people from not really knowing God to knowing how strong God is I lost everything to gaining it all back 2X plus because God is the glory and I still make mistakes but I really know God is real no matter what I want to tell my testimony God is real I lost my kids home finances and relationship but God is real and I know because he spoke to me and still speaking please I need to tell my story to people that will listen and those that don't believe no charge to you because God is the glory and even through a period of mine rn I know God is looking out for me through it all

When i Born again my very First steps through the bible were led only by the holy Spirit, looking back how perfectly: at first i felt such a strong desire to read the gospel, Jesus' life. Then book of romans, letters for the first christian churches after Jesus death, those explain Faith and aspects on how to live a christian life. I didn't know how to pray then I found the book of salms and used them to start to pray. 3 books very useful at the beginning, as you start you'll be guided anyway. God bless
