This is beautiful and I am very excited to let you know that what your community is doing, the same things were done in my community even using what you have in the granary to buy meat we call it butter trade I loved it coz families used to plant a lot of food no body slept hungry, and what you're calling spinach is sagheti or saga you can Google it and you will see it is the same thing if am not wrong most of the bantu communities eat it and am one of them. Civilization comes and things change for better or worse.
