From Nia Vardalos, writer and star of MY BIG FAT GREEK WEDDING, comes the hilarious comedy MY LIFE IN RUINS. Georgia (Nia Vardalos) has lost her kefi (Greek for "mojo"). Discouraged by her lack of direction in life, she works as a travel guide, leading a rag-tag group of tourists as she tries to show them the beauty of her native Greece.

My appreciation for Greek culture made me see this movie, which made me enjoy it so much! Big props to its star, Nia Vardalos for her wonderful role, as well as one of my favorites, Richard Dreyfuss, for playing the very likeable and funny man Irv. I think my former stepmom, who was Greek, would definitely appreciate this film.

I think it's gonna be great! The screenwriter, Mike Reiss, was a member of the Harvard Lampoon (Humor magazine) and is one of the creators of the Simpsons! He's been working on this for years and years, and it's finally done, so it'll probably be excellent! Also...hahah one of the main characters is named for my uncle, who goes by Gator!! :-)

it's interesting... I lived in England last year but I'm from Canada and the U.S. In England, everyone didn't like MBFGW because they couldn't understand where Nia was coming from as a cosmopolitan immigrant's kid. I personally loved it and I'm sure that I'll love this as well! Oh, and by the way to all you people who think that Nia can only do one thing, go and rent Connie and Carla.
