Such a perfect work you did here! I identify with you as I had a pretty hard childhood as well and I was wondering if I could do a short movie about it one day... I would need 4 girls and 1 guy all older than me, and a lady to play my mom 🙂

I'm from the otherside of the states, Atlantic City, NJ. But my childhood was just like yours. I was born in 88. My dad was around and wasn't. He worked nights at the casinos here, and sold drugs on the side. He was big into Pac, and wasn't home alot. But some times we (us kids) would get to ride with him because my mom would have her hands full trying to raise all 4 of us. That's how I learned how to quote Pac on the top of my head. My grandma lived with us and would make capes just like how your grandma did, except I would be batman. She made them for my brother too. Me and my brother took separate paths. My younger brother ended up learning all the bad from my dad, and I learned to do the opposite. My brother was a good person, he just chose to sell drugs. He ended up dying last May. I searched youtube for , "quit smoking weed" cause I been on a heavy binge since he died, and I came across your quit weed video. Then I saw this one. Idk how you were able to quit for 3months but thats a hell of an accomplishment. I'm still here, in the abyss. This life, this life that we come from, it's reach is long. Even tho we may remove ourselves from it, our peers and friends, and family still feel its effects. Ever since my brother died, I've been lost. Still lost, more than ever. I know the weed don't help but when I'm sober its 100x worst. I wish we could've been born in the burbs somewhere, but that wasn't the case. Just sending this to say, keep moving forward, keep being the voice for the voiceless. "Ya'll ain't ever just tripped and pictured, and just looked at the whole situation, cause once you look at it you know, They don't give a fuck about us"

One of the few people in the online filmmaking space with a come up story worthy of telling. Difference between Andy and these other creatives is you’ve gotten people to care about you, what you do, your dreams and we all wanna see you keep reaching further. These stories should be out there. You’re making at risk youth like I was feel seen, and bringing an asian american story that doesn’t get told. Keep building your own path man.

Andy, thank you for sharing your life with us. This was so well put together. This really hit me and got me emotional because my late grandma would literally say the exact same things to me. I couldn’t help but tear up as my memories of her replayed in my head as I watching this beautiful film. I’ve been a fan for quite some time, but I have to say, this one really got to me, and I just want to let you know to keep going. You are so talented at what you do, and I know your Uncle Gary is smiling from above. All love bro.

Man I’m sorry you had to go through this. I don’t think anyone deserves something like this to happen to them but it puts a good message out there and a lot of people probably needed something like this and like always you did an excellent job on the camera shots and conveyed a lot of emotion with the shots and angles and the overall mood and look of the video.

@brucewayne79303 жыл бұрын
@@andyto It's been the greatest. I love the Gimbal's as ancient weapons analogy. I have used it for a wide range of 3d asset's that I use in my artwork. Textures, photogrammetry, HDRI's has been an asset that if not for an automated gimbal would very time consuming. I am definitely not regretting taking advice this time. You are a superior source of inspiration for me now, a dual blessing of sorts. If there's no heart in it, I want no part in it. That's the greatest gift aside from my child in my opinion... To do what inspires you, and in sharing that passion you give that same feeling to others that are touched by what you've done. Keep it up Andy, I'll keep watching my friend.
