I always carry some spare downhaul rope somewhere in case a rope breaks, or someone else needs a bit of rope, perhaps they need a downhaul as they have forgotten theirs 🤫

I think you should consider lower the mast rake. 3.5°/4.0° is huge to glide the board on the beggining. You could give a try to about 2°.

Mario I thought you said in another video you always use a 1 degree shim under your back wing with your new Aeon foil set-up .. .so with the very light wind and bigger sail & board I'm guessing you used 1.5 or 2 degree shim in the second session.

My uphaul is mandatory, as it doubles as emergency rope.

What I do not understand is that after your struggle due to the missing uphoal rope the second test rit you again have not a downhoal rope😢. How could that be possible!?!
