I think of Discord as a sort of alternate "mentor" to Twilight and her friends. If you think about it, he's just as old as Celestia, and though he's still learning about friendship, he always seems to know more than he lets on. That episode felt like that, with him giving Twilight a push toward something that she needed to think about. We all know this isn't the first time its happened either. While Celestia steps back and lets Twilight figure things out, Discord gives advice in a roundabout (and sassy) way. What do you guys think?

I liked the slow and more relaxed opening, and it was fun to see Celistia going through what Twilight went through. In the case of Trixie and Starlight I think the episode that Starlight is better at friendship than she was, but that she'll still try to use magic to solve any problem she encounters.

I have a theory that maybe Discord has an older sister that is the spirit of order or something because if you think of it : if Discord was all alone this years then HOW IN THE NAME OF THE PRINSESSES OF EQUESTRIA did he learned all this things that he knows like spells, talking ,writing and all of other things.There had to be someone that taught him this, beside if there is a spirit of chaos (like Discord here) why there shouldn't be a spirit of order.Because like Celestia and Luna they are both sisters but they control different things Celestia controls the day and Luna controls the night.They are connected because they are opposites that might be the same case of Discord and his sister because if he had a sister she would be his opposite not Harmony (because there are already spirits of Harmony) but order, and I was so excited when I saw the title:Discordant Harmony in one of the upcoming titles of the new episode bacause maybe just maybe it whould be reaveled that Discord has a sister and that the mane six tried to reunite them both but Discord was afraid of his sister because he was afraid that she was mad at himThat might be actually the case in my opinion.Now I know that some of you don't agree with me but I know that there are people that actually think of it now, I hope that this thing will happen one day and I hope really hope that this will happen one day Thank you for reading☺

I still prefer the Discord is Starswirl theory. He was trying to obtain the Power of Harmony, but because he didn't understand friendship, the results were disharmonious. Essentially, Discord is an anti-alicorn.

Be all mischievious and test the patience, potentials, and friendships of all sentient creatures across the universe. Also, he isn't necessarily a pony so friendship takes alot longer for him.

you get two big thumbs up for the Beauty and the Beast and Mass Effect references! that being said, I think the reason why Twi hasn't particularly been paying much attention to Discord is because, from the way I see things, that responsibility lies more with Fluttershy, being his first real friend and all and being the one that "domesticated" Discord to begin with. But that's just a theory, a game theory.

Gutslove That was brilliant! Andromeda though is pretty good. I beat it within the last week (totalled about 72.5 hours of gameplay on my first playthrough) and I enjoyed the experience significantly.
