I got most of this myself last night just by looking at the Logic Live Loops help template but it didn't mention a way to pause & that's the bit I wanted so cheers 😊

Just creating alternative tracks for everything as you did @08:30, I didn't think of that, doing a batch alternative track for everything. . . . cool! Now I might use the clip view a little more, which I haven't much.... LPX should have like a "Playground" where you can modify arrangements while having the main one untouched. . . . and when you want to keep changes, just press like a "commit" option. . . . . this clip view kinds of brings that but not quite.... Like when you program, you have a developer ambient and a production (real live realtime one); you can mess up with the production one while making changes. . and you will not affect the real live one. You didn't like the changes? well, just save or delete the developer1 and create developer2 as a copy of the production. . . . and start again. . . . Kind of complicated might sound, but really, I believe this sparks so much creativity because you are free to make quick changes and experiment and possibly even have "happy mistakes" that adds up to an innovative mix. . . That would make LPX the ultimate best DAW (for me it "almost" already is)

I've used it a few times at live shows but what I've been running into is some cells start or stop delayed even if all my audio files in the arrangement view are cut the same length at the same time I ran stems and for some reason midway thru the song at the same part one track always goes haywire

Great Tutorial! But I wonder is there any way to automate the loops so you can live loop pedal/Pad free?

Awesome tutorial. How to pan, add reverb , Delay or any other effects for individual cell

Jake, at 7:37 you used a shortcut to toggle the mute status for either loops or arrange window. Did you create this shortcut yourself? I can't get it to work.

Hi Jake. Great video, thnx. I'm interested in working with Logic Live Loops, because the software I was working with (ZenAud.io ALK2) stopped support. ALK2 lets you predetermine when a loop is being recorded from which input. It also lets you predetermine where which loop will play/stop. Is this possible with Live Loops you reckon? If so I would die to know how, because as a live rock/pop solo-performer you can build up your songs pretty quick in this manner. Thnx, Jeroen

Thank you for the tutorial Jake. Very insightful. Great job! I have a question. I want to be able to play a scene from the loop page while simultaneously playing tracks from the arrange window. It does not seem to matter if I have the live loops on tracks that are different than the tracks playing back in the arrange window...if I click on the scene button at the bottom of the live loops window, Logic automatically mutes the arrange window. Arrange window tracks being muted would make sense to me if they were all on the same tracks as the Live Loops, but how I have it set up is for the Arrange Window tracks and Live Loop tracks not to correlate. Is there a way to accomplish what I am describing? Just to state it one more time, I want to be able to play a scene by clicking on the button at the bottom of the live loops window while at the same time I am playing tracks from the arrange window that different tracks than the Live Loop track rows. Or, is there a way to play a scene back using the queue mode in order to accomplish my intention? Seems like there would or should be a way to do what I want. I just have not yet figured it out. Thanks in advance for any information you may have.
