It's that time in Arizona too. The only lizards we can trust to stay in their houses at night are the Tegus. All our others come out and turn into reptile popsicles if we dont block them in. ⛄

An aquarium heater in the mertans pond would probably work well because it’s not too big , that way he could still use his natural behavior of retreating to the water at night and not get too cold

5:40 Yes, reptiles are incredibly intelligent. My pet tortoise Always goes to his hide 5-10 minutes before the lights go out (goes automatically), and only comes out once the lights are on. Also, whenever I feed him I make little tapping noises with the bowl on the substrate and he immediately turns around and comes running towards me and the bowl ;D

Thanks Kenan much appreciated that you thought of us in Australia. These fires are devistating and the tears are flowing at the loss of life both human and animals. As a wild life carer I haven't cried so much as the loss of natural habitat and food is heartbreaking. The really thing that makes me so angry is that some of these fires have been deliberately lit.

Reptile parents need to remember about temp issues even if you live in a warm place like South Florida. Even below 50 will stun or kill some species. I know someone who lost several animals a few years ago when we had a spell in the high 40s. Even though it is extra work all of mine come inside every night. I would rather be an overprotective "lizard lady" than have to lose animals like my neighbor did..... :>(

Their should be small slots on the back of the power strip in lola and guapos shelter ment for attaching it to the wall, may be an easy fix. You could also just make a U shaped bracket to hang it in, that would be better and wouldn't take much time.

The signs you just said about your cat could indicate a health issues. Maybe a run to the vet. Also cats love it clean . If their can " toilet " isn't they will tell you by using your bed or bathtub. Also if something is stressing them out. Like a change in routine or food ect. So just some things to look into .

I'm very much doubt that you will find much destroyed bush the fires that you were talking about have been going since late October and in the areas that the fire was affecting but is no longer the plant life is already growing back it's hard to say but a lot of Australian trees actually need fire to encourage them to drop seeds and encourage the new seeds to grow

How to stop cat furballs, give your cat coconut oil ( the solid stuff, you get in the jar) It helps cats stop vomitting everywhere. I own 18 cats, and since I have been giving this to mine, it helps them loads. I hope this helps. Cat pooping in the shower, I just keep my cats toilets clean, often. Anyway loving your vlogs, and your various reptiles. Id use pateron, but I support other youtubers too... But keep up the awesome work.
