Heard this in Chicago the other evening. Music of the Baroque performed it. What a lovely piece of music. So different--peaceful and powerful.

I have been singing carols for 60 years and this year is the first time I have been unable to do so. I came across this hymn for the first time last night sang by the Abbey Choir, Shrewsbury. ( the carol service may be on KZbin ) and was deeply affected by it . Let's hope we will be able to have carol services again in 2021
