Bill has the sound, skills and chops to make people dream of this sound he has built for everyone to enjoy. His passion for getting an amp to make a player want to play and sound better is far greater than just making amplifiers…. This transcends anything I have seen and heard…. Player Builder and great guy!! Have Bill build you this dream amp and sound….

My Lexi is a fire breathing monster! Amazing amp with so much feel, all the gain i want, yet cleans up enough with lighter picking and the guitar volume.

wow nailed the playing and tone!!

Lexi sounds like early Ed, LS30 sounds like modern Ed. Two winning choices! Love your work, keep it up! Oh, and great picking too!

Hey Brother. We talk a few years back Bill, and you're a very nice and cool guy, with Mega Talent. You're an awesome player too. I'm Sonny. The guy from Metairie, Louisiana. You had just recently moved to Mississippi, from St. Louis, and you had told me you grew up in Louisiana....I think you told me Independance, La....I think that's what you told me. Love your amp tones, especially through those Greenback Speakers, and I really love that Yamaha Guitar. Awesome color. Yamaha makes great quality guitars at reasonable prices. Hope you and your family are well, Bill. Much Love and Respect from Metairie, La.

Put a Tube Screamer type OD up front. Put a noise gate up front and in the loop using the 4 cable method. Put an EQ in the loop. Go to high gain heaven. Metal players have been doing this with their mid-gain JCM Marshalls for decades. Works even better on Bill's amps. Constructive criticism Bill: use effects less often when filming demos. You're a great player, much better than myself. You sound great with effects, but when I'm "shopping" for an amp by watching demos, I want to hear the amp without effects for the majority of the demo.
@LandryAmps7 ай бұрын
Yeah, I know you're right about the effects, but they help me so much, lol.

Yup 👍 that's the tone.... Juicy and aggressive! There's no way to capture how BIG this 30 watt head sounds until you're in a room with it and get the volume up around 10 or so. A really really impressive amp!

Not a bad tone coming out of that room. Actually, not even a "good" tone coming out of that room. They're all spectacular! So, now the question is... Are you going to offer a Lexi-fied version of the LS30??? That LS30 has a bit of SLO in it, the way I'm hearing it.
@LandryAmps Жыл бұрын
The "Lexification" of the LS30 is permanent, as well as the increased gain.

@@LandryAmps You’re killing me…. I was 100% sold on the Lexi. Now, I’m not so sure.
@LandryAmps Жыл бұрын
@@phillamoore157 Well the Lexi is awesome for sure, but it doesn't have a clean channel. The LS30 has a clean channel, costs a lot less, and only weighs 26 lbs. I'm not trying to sway you one way or the other. In fact, you might just have to get one of each. 😁
@phillamoore157 Жыл бұрын
@@LandryAmps "One of each"??? Hmmm...I had a suspicion you might go there.🤣 My financial advisor (better known as my wife) may "advise" me (which translates to castrate me in my sleep) if I do that. 😱 But, I did tell her that you offered to give us a 25% discount if we went that route. So, we're very appreciative of that, Bill 👍 I'll be in touch, my friend. Thank you for the info.

So...does this increase the collectibility of the "final" LS30 that I purchased last year, Bill? Still love the amp, never getting rid of it.
@JInfinity7 Жыл бұрын
BTW, I hit my LS30 with a parametric OD pedal to the front end with just a touch of extra gain, a modded Muff pedal with just a touch of fuzz, tune to D and produce some of the heaviest doom/psychedelic metal tones I have ever heard.

Which model is your most affordable amp? I need a good Modded Marshall sounding all tube head for a 2x12 V 30 cab? Ironically right now i use a Katana by Boss and it is not too shabby for what it is and what it cost me! The $189 it cost me is hard to beat after you hear this thing and what it can do! Get's some convincing Marshall style tones for a SS amp! Great cleans with built in BOSS effects.
@LandryAmps Жыл бұрын
Yeah, I've played on a Boss Katana that a friend of mine had. It was pretty cool, especially for the price, but I still prefer real tubes. 😁 The LS30 is by far my most affordable amp at $1900.00.
@These_go_to_eleven_1959 Жыл бұрын
@@LandryAmps All tube is the only way to go IMHO. $1900 is a real good price for a hand built all tube amp and normally i would be ordering now but i have to recoup financially a little first from buying a 2022 Les Paul standard i got last month. I will be in touch as soon as my funds allow me to get one.
