I just got this game. it is quite expensive. Watching your videos and the Runningmanz and Citrus Punch makes it seem easy! I have been great at finding everything other than food,Been kind enough to leave my carcass with my loot for others. Even on low volume servers people run through and grab all the food and newbies like me live on mushrooms in the middle of nowhere. Game is much harder than the videos I have seen. My controller sucks and I can barely play but I'm improving. Never been killed,although had to bash somebody's brains out with a crowbar for trying to rob me.I am a former Marine and I can find food in the woods although there is almost none in this game, no clams to dig on the beach,some 10 year old kid could probably kick my ass by having a better controller but nobody even the infected has killed me so far,and that's the way! I just couldn't find any food! There is food everywhere in nature and that's where this game falls short as far as survival. but I like playing it anyway, for the day that I've had it.

I have a Gold Headset and thought I had to press the button to talk every time. I have Gotten Killed a few Times,I won't Relate The Server I am on, and that was a learning Experience! If You find Yourself in Berlin in 1944 and you don't know how to fabricate a firestarting kit you will starve to death. despite the rocking weapons you have some idiot will Grand slam whack you with a can of beans before you even know how to work the controller.I am loathe to be a bully, I am a veteran, it is amazing to me how nasty people can be for no reason in this game. I shit You Not! Paybacks are a bitch! Ultimately it is just a game and I have Had so much more Quality time with the one Person that was actually Friendly! A Canadian Guy By the Boom Shakalaka Fooo something or other! There is HOPE BAMBI! LOL Peace Friends!

Yeah, starting is hard. You need to run to well, get fully hydrated (until arrows [up or down] dissapears, water has 5k units. Food as energy has 20k units, best is to kill zombies for cans, search gardens colas or pipsis and vegetables. Hunting is good option too. Finding chicken in villages or in towns is pretty good. Crafting fire with just bark, and making handdrill with stick and bark is easy too. Killing bigger animals, like pigs or cows is great, there is some fat from there, and fat is most OP food in game when baked (ex. on fire with long stick). Or finding mushrooms, most common places are in forests, fallen trees, haybales. In my opinion, if you are about to cook something, cook only meat, because, fruits or vegetables are loosing energy when cooked, so eat them raw. I hope this will help you. I have like 90 hours on game, but these hours are survival only. I mastered survival, but when coming to pvp I am instant dead
