Just wondering what type/types of fishing do you use that boat for?

So far I've mostly fished for trout, bass - Tahoe Lake, Pinecrest Lake, Bass Lake, Sanoma Lake ( cought two good catfish! - on a simple float rod and a live worm). Basically - trolling. On Pinecrest I fished for trout from a boat with a power bait ( caroline rig). I plan to try ocean fishing next season here in the Monterey bay. I don't have a downrigger. I'm still thinking of learning how to fish at depth using special equipment with a load.

Thank you! I also really love these rails. They add safety to the boat - the sides seem to become higher, the volume inside the boat is added and yes - you can attach a lot to them. I even had the idea of ​​stretching thick waterproof fabric between the rails and sides, especially in front - and less splashes would get into the boat. But I haven’t started doing it yet - I’m fine as is.

As far as I remember - two people and a boat fully loaded for fishing, including two batteries, bow anchor, stern and spare anchors, a full 6 gallon gas tank - about 26 miles per hour. Quite quickly goes on planing. I tried to evenly distribute the load on the boat.

Thank you very much for the tour of your boat. I ha e a lund wc14 set up for fishing . With 4 downriggers , 5 rod holders, wood floor with carpet, and much more. I have a 9.9 honda outboard that runs great for trolling. But has no speed to get to get to were I want to go. So seeing the 25 hp motor and the comments on its speed and handling are very encouraging. Also the Bimini top is great, my wife would go no the boat more if it had a top .Thanks again. 😊
