Grzegorz Cooper thanks for feedback. Unfortunately I do not have the plans for the floors. All I used was 1/2 plywood and a bunch of two by fours underneath for strength and to give the floor a little bit of rise. Used basic outdoor carpet and just some 90 degree angle to screw the floors in so they don’t move. I just measured and made. I made them long before I started KZbin vids. Sorry I can’t give ya more then that. Pretty simple to do if you have a skillsaw and a drill. I cut out spots where the aluminum struts are and cut the corners so they are not a 90 degree corner so it is easier to install and remove.

Isn't that alot of weight with the down riggers in a small boat also isnt that a small boat for salmon
@bigair01762 жыл бұрын
Oh no way! I have personally fished in 15knot winds. Wasn’t fun but I have done it with a a friend in the boat. I would say for room purposes two full grown men could easily fish out of this boat. If you check out my comparison vid you can see the differences on how the different Lund boats sit and handle on the water. If it wasn’t for my kids I would prob still run this in the ocean. But they wanted some walking room so I bought a bigger salmon fishing boat. But this boat is capable for sure. The boat alone weighs 300lbs. Not even close to its weight limit. The transom is rated for a 35hp motor.

I am super happy with the boat. I have 2 adults and two kids in the boat all the time. Plenty of room for lakes. I am thinking of upgrading to a 30hp for more power as the kids get bigger. Thiago thanks for the Feedback. I am typically able to run my Electric trolling motor as long as I want normally. My 20hp has a charging system so it keeps the main battery charged up. I sometimes will carry a second Deepcycle for my electric motor but have tried lately more just using the main battery. I have a 55lb thrust min kota and it pushes the boat fine, plus it uses very little power. CHeers

@@bigair0176 Thanks for the reply! I was also wondering if you would be willing to let me know the dimensions on the custom aluminum stands you are using for your downriggers as I am looking do the exact same on my boat. Cheers!
@bigair01765 жыл бұрын
The lips where the mount attaches are about 1.5 inches on the seat and the side of the boat. I used 1/4 inch aluminum that I had a friend make the bends for me. I took the boat to him and he custom bent the metal. The height of the stand is 8 inches from the seat leaving about 2 inches to the gunnel. Reason for this is I flip my boat upside down and take the down riggers off on my self loader. The platform is 6.5 inches from the side of the boat and 6 inches wide in total. I leave the Scotty attachment plate on and just remove the downrigger when I need to. Make sure you check out my boat vids on my channel and sub for future boat vids. Cheers.

@@bigair0176 Saw that video, very awesome. I like the walkthrough seats a lot. I think my old Lund didn't have it and it was annoying stepping over them. @@oregonlifeya just the one compartment for the battery. I was using a second battery for my fresh water electric motor but my main motor has a stator on it. Thomas Steele nope. It all depends on your beam. Mine is a 70inch beam and 30 inch arms works fine. I have had one tangle up with the downriggers balls but it was because I was dropping 200ft down on a crazy tide. But all depends on how comfortable you are leaning outside of the boat to hook up.
