I really appreciate the fact that you emphasize buying better, buying less and waiting until you can afford the best. We evolve over time and hopefully realize that quality is what really counts! I see so many young people jump on the “luxury” train and purchase items that really don’t stand the test of time in terms of real quality and craftsmanship. The pieces that my husband purchases for me are high quality and some are bespoke pieces that I hope to pass down to my daughters one day. It wasn’t always that way, but as our incomes increased and our daughter’s completed university, the opportunity to buy better, quality items was realized. I hope more young people subscribe to your channel and heed your sage advise.

Thank you for this wonderful rundown for the handbags. You really help put things into perspective, since my personal categories are a little different, but I find it very important to know the standards and be able to present accordingly for certain contexts. So a video with more details on the bag categories would be great. Anyway, your channel has become a treasure trove for knowing what's what in minimal luxury recently. Also, I love how you put the German Brands I take for granted (like Villeroy & Boch) into perspective. I did not even register the "Anmut" series name, I just have it sitting around. I now appreciate it more.

I just bought a black vintage Delvaux Tempete PM bag. It's my absolute dream bag and it's kind of a reward for being a new mom of my baby girl. It's my dream bag and 4th vintage Delvaux bag. I appreciate the craftsmanship and heritage of the brand. I feel like I'm stealing for being able to purchase such treasures at such low prices comparatively. I don't want anything else (for now 😆 )

Hi Anesu, great video once again! I absolutely agree on the gym bag. Why settle for nylon when you can be chic and practical even at the gym? There are so many ways to make a beautiful bag practical even if it was not meant for " sweat" . I would love a video as you proposed. For the sheet sets : I absolutely love satin. I would like to mention Schlossberg ( I think it is a Swiss brand) for sheets in case you need further brands ideas.

Hello. Thank you! Chic and practical you said it! I like Schlossberg it’s mentioned in my printed bedlinen video. I like their use of colour and flower prints but it’s too girly and would get me into a lot of trouble and in the dog house if I bought it!

@@SoAnesu I agree with your comment, I should have been more specific: I have both the Jardin and Plume. Both are white jacquard . I do not live heavy colorful prints and patterns. However, both collections work very well with my bedroom which is modern but elegant in aesthetic ( think of Flexform furniture and you have an idea of what I am referring to).

Hello Anesu, thank you for the content you share. Through your videos I have learnt the vulgarity in big brands and appreciate that you remind us to "buy the best you can afford". I may not be in a position to spend thousands, however by all means I'm lucky enough to work in a charity shop that serves around 200 customers on an average day, and dare I say we get some fabulous things. Recently I managed to get some Sterling Silver & Gold jewellery which was a must! Since I began demanding more with my money, I have seen a shift in the quality that I now consume. I've never been one to love a logo, despite liking the design element of some of them, so I love your channel and content. I'm wondering if Georg Jensen Damask (not to be confused with the silversmith Georg Jensen) is on your radar - while their bed linen is 220 count rather than the 300 you mentioned, it is good quality and beautifully made. We've had ours for about 10 years, and it's still looking great. In fact, our tea towels, towels, tablecloths, etc. are all from them, and their items are all ones I enjoy using on a daily basis.
