This was really good to hear. I have had several repairs and replaced items with LV. Surprisingly , even if they say they have to send it out to repair ….I have had a couple that they said could not be repaired and they offered to replace with a new one or the value of the item to exchange. These were all items that I had for less than a year, except for my Pochet Métis and it did the same thing as yours but they could not repair….It was the original and I really liked it better than the newer one. It gives me confidence that LV stands behind their product for the most part.

I’m glad to read that you also had some successes with repairs too! We both missed the window when they were just taking back pochette metis’ and giving either a swap or store credit for it. Although I am happy with my repair. I agree with you. LV definitely stands behind their products 🤍

Glazing you mean...ya that’s always a problem. My LV also have glazing problem, normal with wear and tear

Question: I’m buy a vintage Noe’ GM. The canvas and insides are great, the leather is very spotted. I don’t want the brass hardware changed out for lesser quality. What can you tell me about that? Thanks!

Sorry for the delayed response! When LV employees go on their intranet for repairs it’s literally broken down by individual pieces that are able to repair. If you just want your vachetta changed it will just be that and they’ll reuse the same hardware. If they replace it it’s because that was on the order ticket. They review the paperwork with you before you sign off on it. Hope that helps! Also, vintage Noe’s are BEAUTIFUL. congratulations!
