great content and was really needed.. but this topic came unexpected.. thanks a lot to summarize this ! i want to ask that i am 31 now and have been involved in a local business after my btech in 2017 with no industry experience as such. and now i am plannning to get into cds for a job. what will be your thoughts on this brother ? as i dont have any work experience will this affect badly ? or should i drop this idea to do mtech in CDS.. please share your thoughts on this, as my decision will be based on your opinion as i find you the most appropriate person . thank you

After MTech during placement no-one looks for prior experiences as in Mtech you learn specialised skills. I dont feel there should be an issue regarding that. If you end up doing Mtech in CSA/CDS/CSE/AI from some good IITs or IISc, you will have lots of opportunities opened infront of you. So dont worry go for it. Regarding MTech in CDS, you can definitely go for it, but even if join CSE/AI you have equal opportunity in terms of placement

Hi bro i am one of your new subscriber and i will be joining in some tier 3 college for my cse this year in Bangalore and i have planned to give my gate exam in 2027 with well preparation and hardwork and i confidently can say that i will be getting into iits and before joining some colleges in Bangalore for btech i asked my relatives that can i do cse some of them said that its a good branch other then any branches and some said that its just a waste certificate just u have to keep ur cse certificate in home no use of doing btech i really don't know the fact whether they r saying of joulousy or it may be truth the one who said its waste certificate they r only earning nearly lakh and i bought up in Bangalore only in my opinion all cse students r getting some salaries less or more and i didn't revealed that i will be doing mtech and giving gate exam in third year for anyone who i asked for the suggestion of joining btech in cse. What i have to do now bro whether i have to join engineering or leave that field and go to anther field. in 8th only i decided engineering in cse only and then joined pcmc in pu now i am completely blank bro I HOPE U WILL REPLY SOON TO THIS COMMENT or anyone who r perusing cse or completed cse with best placement please suggest me it will help in taking my decision.

Sir, Is there a specific procedure to follow if I choose to stay outside the campus? I recently received a selection letter for PhD admission in IIT KGP, which requires a payment of 60,000 rupees for admission. This fee includes hostel mess charges and a development fee totaling almost 30,000 rupees. There is no option for partial payment. Sir kindly guide me in this process in your free time. Actually it is a very important factor for me as I need to stay with my mother, who is quite old now and I need to take care of her.

Dont know if you can choose to stay outside during first sem. What you can do is join, spend first sem inside campus and then go for accommodation outside. Also please note, even if you stay outside you have to pay 15k per sem as hostel maintenance fee

not mandatory, you can stay outside, in that case hostel fees and mess charges you dont have to pay. But Hostel maintenance charge you need to pay, whether you stay or not
