It is a great hobby. I am about to be 38. I started collecting about 16 - 17 years ago. I never thought I would have the massive military collection that I have now. It has been a fun journey. I am always adding to my collection and making new videos. It definitely takes time and money to grow a collection. I always tell people to always have fun. Don't let it become a chore. Thanks for watching my videos. I have alot of others as well. Good Luck collecting.

I have a national postal service in rough shape (Broke) for 160 from 1999, worn barrel, slide very worn, spring as well, trigger assembly wasn't very good, the flat bolt had a very slight crack with the bolt claw to crab the brass was broke in half, stock bit rough too. I was coming home disappointed from a gun show that I notice the carbines like other guns were disappearing with the low prices of 120 for refurbished carbines to much later was seen again for the poor shaped ones with a much higher price tag. About halfway home I seen the flea market sigh that I noticed on the way down to the gun show and I thought what the hell. it wasn't much of a flea market with art crap all over until I seen the carbine, it was later when my thrill was gone when I seen the problems with it and I knew why they sold it. They must of really went crazy shooting God knows how many tens of thousands of rounds through it, for this part of history in the way it was. That's when I remembered the carboard box, it was the box I got from a auction a little more than a year before I bought the carbine. It had more than one slide, more than one trigger assembly (One was a M2), two slide springs (One was in bad shape), a bayonet with no sheave, some 15 and 30 round mags and two bolts and all for a dollar (No-one was interested in bidding for it and at the time I was thinking of the bayonet. too bad there wasn't a great condition stock to replace the one it now, least the Parkinson finish is in great shape. Slap on the new parts that was never used and now the carbine works, the worn barrel means I can't hit a paper plate at 200, hit the edges at 150 is good enough and I wish I'd hadn't so much fun shooting all my hollow point ammo, It use it for any house break ins.

Nice to meet my collecting competition, you know as collectors, we are really just the current caregiver of our militaria. It's amazing to think of how many hands a particular piece has been through since it's creation. Gives credence to the saying, if only this piece could talk. Job well done, maybe see you down the trail one day. Keep your shit wired tight and good luck to you.
