Awesome video I didn't know about the mod alt macros seems much cleaner than setting up a separate key bind with Alt

Fair point. I got comfortable using them to shift forms on Guardian Druid. It's an alternative for condensing your bars if you'd like, but setting up an extra key bind is totally fine!

Awesome video, thanks. I've been doing the same with the exploding keg macro as well. I like to be able to chose, when not in combat, whether i want to drop exploding keg on myself or say the next pack as im rolling in so my macro is slightly different. Just figured id add in here in case you or others might find it useful as well.

Instead of modify macros, I literally just make 4 rows of hotbars and bind them to shift+X, alt+X and ctrl+X. So I can see the cooldowns aswell. Making macros for it is just so inconvenient when it comes to organising. You'll have to rewrite them every time you want to separate them. This looks cooler and less clutter but I prefer full on action bars

Great video man. For focus if you’re not using mouse over the game has a focus key bind built in. I’m glad I stayed for cast sequence. I had them setup before with salsa breath and recently swapped talents around. They stopped working right.

The @player can be omitted for your vivify macro, you can just do [@mouseover,help,nodead][] Vivify and the empty [] bracket will default self-cast if you don't have a friendly target under your cursor.

I dont know why but the aoe taunt macro doesnt work in a sense that it works with the alt mod only but standard Provoke doesn't work :(

You don't need the @player in the Vivify/similar macros. You can just put []

Hey Sha! Love your videos, has certainly helped me to chug brews better. I've been trying to figure out a way to macro the instant vivify with purifying brew as it is off the GCD. Doing so is easy, and has had spectacular results in my self healing throughput. The issue I'm having is that I cannot differentiate between the instant vivify and cast... If instant is on cd, purifying brew will start casting vivify and stop dodging potential. Any idea how to incorporate this more smoothly? So far, my fix is jump while i purify to be moving and not cast, or just pay more attention and have them on separate but close keybinds. I often vivify others to help the healer, but it's so handy when you purify and vivify yourself in one button when it's mostly just tank damage.

Is there a way to turn the Kick macro into a Cast Sequence macro that takes advantage of us having 4 interrupts and cycles between them ie Spear Hand Strike, Quaking Palm, Leg Sweep and Paralysis in order, if its available? Out of curiosity ;)

Hi. I used to use mouse over macros, however, since they introduced the mouse over option in the wow settings, I’ve just been selecting that. Is there any reason maybe I’m missing that I should be using mouse over macros and not this setting? Thanks!

No. The standard Blizzard mouse-over cast feature ('Options' -> 'Combat' -> 'Mouseover Cast' enabled and set to 'None') is all you need. Tons of people don't know of this feature (it was introduced late in Shadowlands) and still use old-school mouse-over macros.

/cast [@mouseover, help][]vivify shortn'd version. if mouseover target isn't a friendly unit it wil ldefault to casting like a normal viviy at your target if it's friendly if not or there isn't a target it will self cast. help(and harm) assumes axists and nodead.

I made a macro for Black Ox statue that doesnt require modifiers If you're in range of the statue it will taunt it, if not, itll taunt your target. If people are interested I can reply with it later, doin homework rn xD
