Miss Margaret, I know you used your moms method of cooking pork chops, but when they’re this thick, it’s better to butterfly them before cooking and they will cook much more evenly with a shorter cooking time. Just a suggestion. Love your channel!

Wow! I had those very same boneless loin chops last night! I dipped them in an egg wash then dregged in a dry coating of plain bead crumbs seasoned with Italian seasoning/garlic salt with parsley, onion powder and paprika, and fresh grated Parmesan. Seared them 2 minutes per side and then baked them on a rack at 425 about 15-20 -- until the temp was 155. Delicious! 😋

@MaryAnneNapier 9 ай бұрын
@@patlovato4073 They grow wild and are very seasonal. Much like a wild onion or a wild leek. They are pungent, to put it mildly. They are very popular with most country folk. Lol. I don't care for them. The house stinks, your breath stinks, lol. You have to go to the woods and dig them up. There are better ways for me to get my green veggies. But, around here, they have ramp dinners for fund raisers, etc.

you can buy a meat thermometer to check the temperature of the meat to ensure it is done...u can get some very inexpensive ones. If u don't want to bake your chops you can test the tempetature instead of cutting them up. You can also turn stove to low and put a lid on the pan. Will cook them evenly.
