The Hillbilly Kitchen (KZbin Channel name)has been helping for over a month and she said FEMA did offer to put these people up in hotels but it was a long, 4 hour drive to the hotel, and they were busy trying to get all their lives worked on, so an 8 hour round trip daily was not feasible. FEMA is not bringing RVs or any shelters in to these small towns, so many are donating RVs or cash to purchase RVs.
@paccur12527 күн бұрын
@GrandmaGiggles l also heard Fema was only offering hotel rooms for a few days.. not for the long periods of time necessary.. but not sure if that is correct

Thanks for explaining taking the strings off of the celery. Although I have never made this soup, I now will. I would also use vegetable broth and a little tomato juice. Just for added flavor. Thank you for all your amazing videos. I enjoy each one. And Corey, you are very helpful with taking care of your family. I do not celebrate Christmas in December, but I do celebrate the birth of our Lord in Sukkot, September October. Christmas in December has been made too commercialized. Why do I have to buy gifts for all when the only true gift is the birth of our Messiah? To each his own. Thanks again. God bless you all. Jesus Christ, Gods true gift to an unsaved world. ♥

Hi Corey and Ms.M.!!! Cabbage Soup is one of my favorite soups. I have the ingredients in the Fridge now. I do add a big 28oz.can of Crushed Tomatoes 🍅 to mine. I was going to try your Tomato-Juice this time. I add some beef broth or beef bullion to it also.And garlic... Sometime I add beef meat but not often...I make the tiny egg noodles and eat them with my soup. I put them in my bowl I dont like my noodles mixed in it all...Thank You for the readings and prayers...Take Care and GOD...Great Video!!!...🦋

I add stewed tomatoes to mine. And season with some bacon grease if I don’t put ground beef in it. My momma used to add some cabbage to her vegetable soup. We never as carrots or celery. I add them to my beef stew. My favorite part of the celery is the bottom part. When you cut the end off don’t cut all the way and you can peek the strings at one pull from the piece you were cutting off.

My friend and I have made cabbage soup for years and it is so yummy that even if you don't need to lose weight, you'll begin to crave it from time to time. The recipe we use uses no salt chicken stock instead of water for added flavor. We also include lower salt rotel tomatoes, 1 small can no salt tomato sauce and garlic. Margaret, please put me in the prayer book.I have a couple other issues God is healing me of, BUT my plantar fasciitis has been giving me such excruciating pain in my right heel, that I'm having to take acetaminophen every 8 hours and putting my foot on frozen peas to freeze the pain. I know our sweet Jesus hurt way worse during the crucifixion and I apologize to Him for crying & being such a big baby. I try so hard to tap into His strength to handle it with grace. I want to be like Him.🥺 I'm 71 and we'd be great friends if I lived close to you, because of things we share (I even wear my hair like you😊) I will write you a letter soon. God bless you & your husband and family. Thank you, Martha
