Mamaw, if your arthritis acts up while cooking, my ma had a tall wodden bar stool. She'd use it at the counter or at the stove. Sturdy but easy to move. Some have short back rests too. If l had room, I'd have one. Thanks for the reading & the prayer.Fish looks so delicious. Keep on cooking Mamaw.

Your oil isn’t hot enough. If it’s not bubbling it’s not hot enough n soaks up grease . Also the oil should be half way up the sides of whatever you’re frying so the sides get browned. 😊

Diatomaceous Earth, and it REALLY kills roaches. My brother moved in with us from a ratty motel in Virginia Beach, he brought a really nice toaster oven with him, and it looked like it had never been used. Oh MY LORD, Margaret, I went into my kitchen one night about 4-5 days after he moved in with us and that toaster oven was sitting on my counter. I went in to my kitchen late at night and even in the dark I saw scurrying. I flipped on the light and when I tell you there were dozens, I am NOT LYING! I grabbed that toaster oven and threw it out the back door then ran back in and sprayed the ones I could still see with air freshener 🫠 it was all I had! This became a 2 year saga, I developed such anxiety, I got to wear I’d kill them with my bare hands, I was a mess. We hired a company, they sprayed every month, we sprayed EVERY day, then I learned about Diatomaceous Earth and ordered it from Amazon. I am STILL cleaning up that powder. It drastically reduced the number of roaches, but those dirty pests were in all of his items and boxes, maybe their eggs, I don’t know, but one day I was deep cleaning my own bedroom and found a literal nest hiding behind my husbands night stand, which was weird cuz he didn’t have any food or snacks squirreled away, I was smashing them with my hands, and paper towels, and I called my husband in hysterics. He called Orkin and we fired the other company. Between the D.E. And Orkin coming every single month, we have finally won the battle. We still see and occasional roach but that’s only rarely few weeks. We will probably be moving in the next year, and I will be so careful when packing to make sure we don’t transfer a single critter to the next place, it’s been a night mare, to this day I can see some shadow out of the corner of my eye and I will spin around so quick, usually it’s just my own reflection in the microwave door or something but I wonder when the reactivity will go away!

Fun Fact: Club Soda can be used to get stains out of clothes, but it has to be done before washing the clothes and stain has set. Although I have gotten some stains out after the stain set. It depends on what the stain is, the material, and how old it is. Btw, Club Soda was initially used for mix drinks/cocktails.

That batter was perfect before you added more liquid. Your heat should have come back up to temperature before you started frying. That way your fish won’t get it so done that it wants to fall apart. Somehow you manage to get it to look pretty good!😂

Okay y'all I was born and raised in Fort Lauderdale Florida with the palmetto bugs now those are the worst roach you ever going to see Play 2 and 3 inches long and some of them fly North Carolina that we got roaches those are the tiny ones I call them real roaches house roaches then if you got a roach those are those big ones they don't fly around but some of them do have wings and some of them they just said smooth back and everything we got hissing roaches all kind of things here in North Carolina I'm going to tell you the best stuff you can ever put out is combats get the ones for small and large that way you going to get the roach and the roaches cuz sometimes things you get shipped got roaches in them sometimes things from the grocery store can have roaches in them seriously it's not as hot up there in West Virginia I'm sure it's hotter than it used to be but you know you got the winners that are heavier than here in North Carolina so we got a lot of bugs here and I hate them stink bugs they are the worst in the red wasp we have all my word there are so many of them and they can sting you multiple times I was cutting the yard and one sting me on the back of the hip five times it was swollen up like a baseball I'm not even allergic and that's not the only time I've been stung the red wasp 1 time 1 slow down grabbed my eye is stung me stung me stung me I couldn't get it off my eye how that happened was a trailer I used to live over to Indian Trail I'm in Locust here now but I was going to clean the screen off the bathroom exhaust and they had built a nest in there and when I pulled it down it flew down and got me real good the next day Dr Glenn said get some Benadryl out of the cabinet Gina take two and take it every 4 hours he said you did get stung I'm going to tell you right now I'll buy the double pack of that wasp spray still building this anywhere they can it was all up in my dog's house I had a little you know 10 cat bed thing outside it built a nest in there it's just crazy the stuff I get from Walmart and its foam it really sticks to it and it Jets out and where have you put it they kind of light over there but they won't make a nest again there I was trying to think of the bugs I might have seen when I lived up there in West Virginia in Beckley I really can't think of any unless it was like a little moth or maybe some crickets I know we have some stray cats and some chipmunks and squirrels and I remember that my cat would bring me chipmunk every now and then and we ate some squirrels cuz somebody hunted them and we had squirrel it was real good I like dear but nobody ever got a dear there nobody in our family Hunt's matter of fact they don't have nothing my son wanted to hunt but he passed away when he was 18 I had bought him a rifle we had to sell it he never got to use it and it was called the deer Slayer cuz it was my brother-in-law's brother's gun but I've been lucky sometimes here they'll be people that hunt and they'll give you some meat I love the deer burger it makes the best chili in my opinion I had made some chili and my boss ate it and it was so good so good and then I said oh dear makes the best chili oh she was so sick then what how can you love something and eat it up and then🤢 it's me it's good meat to eat and God said if you kill it you should eat it it shouldn't be for sport actually we got lots of rabbits out here though I ain't never tried to catch it and meet him though anyhow I'll talk too much love you all 💞God bless🕊❤️‍🔥🙏📖 PS this is Google speech text and you won't believe some things it writes so a lot of times I didn't proofread but I tried to proofread because it's crazy closed caption is now generated by AI put it on some time and just look what it catches and what it says I feel sorry for the people that can't hear that really depend on closed caption and I hate AI all technology is not bad but I hate getting AI a robot without a cognitive brain to speak to a human with a cognitive brain and some of the humans even sound like a robot and some of them are still human

Diatomaceous earth ... dust the animals fur, feed to them too and it will worm them. Human can can eat it too. Has a lot of minerals good for you. kills roaches, bed bugs, all sorts of bugs.

I just found this channel and just had to subscribe!!! Watching you brings back fond memories of watching my grandmother cook in the kitchen!! Like you, she never measured a thing but it always tasted the same every time she made it!!! She used to work in the lumber camps during the winter cooking for up to 25 to 50 lumberjacks at a time so she was quite busy!!! I became a chef 9well maybe a half assed chef) but I always remembered her telling me that when you cook fish, you always pan fry breaded fish in an inch or so of oil over med high heat but when you batter fry it you always want to deep fry it at about 360 degrees for only 4 to 6 minutes until golden brown!!! That's something I used when cooking no matter what I was cooking!!! Chicken, porkchops, fish, whatever!!! Anyway I've gone on enough as a first time sub!!! Keep making my mouth water and you can cook for me anytime!!! GOD BLESS you and yours!!!

Try pouring a cup of your favorite 100% juice and add Club Soda to it; this is a way to have a healthy Soda Pop and it tastes REALLY GOOD! 😊
