Currently 0! I'm still too new and have only 5 books published currently and on 2nd round of edits for my high content book. And yes, Nuria, there is a lot that goes into writing a high content book. Just write, do your editing after. Pomodoro method of 10 to 25 minute writing sprints, take a break and come back. Pace yourself.

Thank you! I can't really answer that easily as it depends on the type of book. Auto ads work well for some but not for others. And then sometimes ads start not working suddenly. It's a very unpredictable and variable subject.

I have more than 100 books, still 70-100 euros per month... When this will increase? Do I have to create more and more? They are all medium content books.

The quantity doesn't matter, the only thing that matters is the quality of your books. You can make many sales with just a few books and some people have hundreds of books and don't make any sales.

Do you think you could reach this point again if you started fresh now, Nuria? I am a very self motivated person and have some creative skills and was initially excited about KDP, but I got so despondent after a while because I put a lot of effort into my books and only sold a few and didn't make any profit, especially after using ads. I'm not sure if I can get the motivation to pick this up again. Seeing others' success only frustrates me more, I'm afraid 😟

I hear you. I think if I were to start fresh now I would be even more confident. And that is because I know what works for me now and what doesn't. Bear in mind that I only really saw real success after arbout a year or so. This is definitely not a business that shows fast results, it does take time. I also only ran ads after a year, so it was a slow process all around. Saying that, this is true for any business, whether KDP or any other. Most small businesses don't make a profit in the first one or two years, this business is no different. I hope you find the motivation again, I also have to say that not everyone will succeed but I am sure that there is something out there that will work for everyone, we just have to find what that is. I kept going with KDP because I enjoyed it so much, if I hadn't enjoyed it, I would have given up at some point in the first year.

I started last year so it shows you how long it's taking me, sometimes I feel like I'll never finish it lol. I'm having a lot of fun with it though, so I'm sure I'll be writing more in the future.

I'm wondering if, at this point, you're sourcing out the creative aspects of book making, or still making them all yourself? I'm 2 years in, I have approx 180 books, which I've created all myself and currently selling approx 100-150/mth (approx 10% of my books sell) and making approx $300usd/ mth net and spending almost $300 usd on ads. Really wanting to scale up, but dont know if i should continue creating book, or source them out.

Good question, one that I keep asking myself a lot. I still do everything myself. And sometimes I wonder if I could outsource parts of the business but I find that hard, as I like to be in control too much. And I enjoy the process so I think for now I will stick to keeping my business small but it's definitely something that you could consider, it all depends on your individual views and circumstances. Looks like you're doing the right things so far, best of luck!

Mam I'm running ads of 2$ per day with cpc of 0.20. But I'm just getting around 40-50 impressions and 0 clicks can you please tell how many impressions are required to get at least 10 clicks per day? Should I change my book cover or increase cpc?

I don't do any paid advertising outside Amazon. Social media promotions are all unpaid. I believe the best platform to advertise is Amazon as that is where our customers are ready to buy. Social media raises awareness, but it doesn't always mean people are in a buying mood there.

That number changes. I have a lottery ad that I run on all my books but I also run product ads, manual and auto ads, I haven't counted them but it's a lot.

I don't. I have an accountant that does all that for me, they specialise in content creators which makes it much easier. I wouldn't know where to start if I had to do it myself. When I first started I used to just do my annual tax return for self-employment, but it's more complicated now.
