top mounts are a pass if theres only slight play even if theres a knock only issue is if you sold a car with a knock they will return the car my 207 as a slight click when i full lock but im waiting till it gets worse before i fix it but since you planning to make money selling it i would get new top mount and drop link is easy to know if its failed you jack front off the ground and pull on the drop link if you feel any play or click they failed that can cause a knock noise

Common issue on the top mount but these cars have curtain play that woukd pass mot without advises only advise wen car weight down and you pull on the spring if movement then advise or fail if really bad

not correct mot garages usually if they clued up even if spring don't move they check to see if any movement from top mount so if its moving noticeable they will fail it

@watchanything-c7r from my understanding their some cars corsa fiat 500 all have certain play even if he puts a new mount on 100% will have some play

least you saved money not doing top mount if i was you is start buying tools and then start doing repairs yourself as top mounts and drop links are easy to replace and many other stuff is easy if you put your mind to saying you can do it even if you looked at youtube videos

I have tools I do mechanical stuff my self it was just easy as my mechanic has a ramp to check it

If you can't fix it yourself you really should learn to fix it yourself or get out the game simple you could of had a few extra thousand if you fixed them car's yourself

@@RandomClips27. 😂😂judging me from one clip I have tools I can do it my self my I just chose to let my mechanic do it as he has a ramp and it’s easy he only charged me £45 todo it top mount and drop link parts was only £37 saves me the headache if you go watch my previous videos you can see I do things my self
