I have this tendency to just give up and I convince myself that there is no help and therefore no hope. But you, Chris...you take responsibility for yourself and ask for help, and I admire that soooo much. Your wisdom wins even when in deep depression. I wish you a speedy recovery. You've got this!

Chris, you are truly a wonderful help: I have gained so much by listening to you, and I trust every word. You have the courage to talk about the terrible and terrifying parts with honesty and empathy, which is vital. My addictions stem from deep despair etc, and for too long I just thought I was a useless person. You give me the hope to overcome and cope with such negativity. Thank you! I wish you the same gentle care you give us

This is the best video/documentary on mental health I've seen. How hard it is to get the right kind of help. So many of us are going through the same thing and you just described it to a "T". I just started smoking again. Extremely disappointed. I'm going to a counselor and trying to get through it and your video is inspiring. I'll be praying for you. Again, thank you for allowing us to experience this.

Chris you are wonderful sharing your life experiences and realities of your treatments. You are so brilliant and insightful. I am sorry you had a very strange physician diagnosis of ADHD . I too have depression and anxiety and on antidepressants. I just quit vaping and am proud of it. I am an RN and feel there is help out there, don’t give up and keep on sharing it is helping all of us out here. Thank you 🙏

Because of your honesty, Chris, I was able to quit smoking. I’m sorry you are going through this challenge right now but it seems that the learning from experience has already started. Taking on too much is hard to measure and then, boom, it’s too much. I am so proud of you for realizing that.

Hi Chris, thank you for sharing also your bad times with us. Life is not easy... I wish you the best for your further journey. You are strong, you will make it. I feel also depressed these times because I have to deal with a breakup from my boyfriend...it is hard and you describe excactly how I feel... It is hard to deal with this whole stres and I know I have "only" to change the thoughts in my head....but I don't know how at the moment... So I try to do all things that could possibly help me to deal with these things... Doing sports, talking to good friends and go out to some events even if I don't really want to go out.... I wish you all the best, Chris. You are such a nice person and I hope you feel better very soon! You deserve it. You have shown in the past that you are strong enough!

Remember to slow down that fast train Chris. When you've had major life changes all in a row you particularly need to take your own advice and pause to look after yourself without feeling there are things to all the time. Some things can wait, they really can. Your own health is more important.💖

I wish antidepressants worked for me. I've tried about 5, the side effects are awful plus they make me feel awful. I stopped smoking around 2 months ago and my suicidal depression has returned. I started smoking again a few days ago. I need relief from this depression!

I am not a fan of anti-depressants, but every case is different! I am a fan of you ☺ Please be careful. As you know, sometimes the help is less than helpful. Play Bass! or listen to someone else play well. It gets into your heart!

I'm actually with you on that one Heather, I'm not a fan of them either and would much rather not be on them, but I reached that point it felt like the most sensible option. Getting back to normality one day at a time :)

Hi quick question, I'm back on Zoloft again 3 wks. Started Chantix 5 days ago, feeling anxious, do you recall Chantix made you feel a little anxious. I know it's been a while since you quit. Not sure if it's normal. I'm also a recovering addict as well. Think probably I, will need antidepressants the rest of my life. Anyway your not alone. I appreciate your videos. Thank you

Hi, Chris. I am sorry you are having all these difficulties and hope you are better soon. Have your Vitamin D levels been checked? Many of us who live in northern countries have low levels and that aggravates neurological conditions. 2,000 i.u./day are prescribed for me to help with chronic migraine. I get a disabling, damaging migraine headache about every 7 days. Sometimes I get really discouraged and watch your videos on depression. You and I have interacted a bit before. I believe all brain and neurological conditions are genetic and physical and I have the means to aid medical research which I plan to do. Except I get wiped out with migraine once a week and it can take days to recover. My point in mentioning my problems is to say I find inspiration in your videos. I am sure you are touching and helping many people with what you are doing. Keep that at the top of your thoughts when your mind tries to lead you astray. I wish you the very best.
