Listen.. I didnt know if I wanted to make this public but I did some thinking and I feel it may help… idk if it’s good or has a good message but I do struggle sometimes and I’ve been working on myself a lot lately. There’s more to it and I just felt like y’all should know even I have my struggles and pressures daily.. I’ve learned how to work through them and grow as a person.. most importantly balance my vlog life with my personal life. ❤

It takes a lot to talk about this stuff and I’m normal upbeat, but I felt this would maybe relate to some of you. Idk. Todays a new day and I feel great for making this video. Just a different message from me I guess

Please consider a friendly suggestion. Take one day off each week. It is for yourself and only you. All your loyal fans will consider this as a gift to you. It is the gift of mental health. EVERYONE needs this gift. As a 30 year public school educator, I can assure you that this "hater" situation goes down to First grade and gets continually worse each year. Teachers' teach mitigation actions everyday. So your not alone . We followers do NOT come first, you do! But, we will be with you all the way.

My son committed suicide a few years back and I didn't have a clue he was having some mental struggles he kept them from me and his mom. So yes talk to people we're all here to help in any kinda way that we can don't hold them in and battle it yourself

I think the more we all share our struggles, the more we realize we're not alone. For instance, when I first became a mom, I felt so overwhelmed, like I couldn't do anything right, and WHY did it seem like my other friends with babies were thriving...until I shared how I was feeling with those same friends. Turned out, they were feeling the same way. If it's any consolation, Kyle, the thoughts and feelings you struggle with are very common, but it's awesome that you've figured out how to deal with them. I feel it's even more difficult now, with social media, to feel depressed. I'm positive you gave many people amazing tips on how to get over types of depression. Wonderful video!

BEST advise I ever got: “When someone judged you or “hates” on you it says way more about THEM then it does about YOU.” It’s their insecurities projected into you and has nothing to do with you in reality. So LIVE YOU LIFE to the fullest and dance like no one is watching! Happy Summer Kyle and Everyone watching!

Seriously this is needed!! If you were to stay "on brand" then it would be a disservice to all of us out there in the social media world. So much of the internet is about making things look perfect and trouble-free. Well that adds to mental health issues, which is exactly what destroyed my daughter's health. We are in therapy now for eating issues, anxiety, and working on finding the right anti-depressant. So keep being honest because even in your low points you are brightening our days!

Thank you for sharing. I’ve struggled with mental illness since I was an adolescent and I felt so isolated in my experience and guilty for struggling. Having heard something like this from a creator would have done a lot for me. There’s a quote I really like I’d like to share with you, “We recover in public so others don’t have to suffer in silence.”

Kyle, good job taking care of yourself. As a counselor, one of the major lessons we learn while in school is that self-care is vital for good mental health. You have to take care of yourself in order to be present for your clients and in your case, your followers. Thank you for sharing your journey, the good and the bad. Your videos are a part of my daily routine and I appreciate your content.

Really, from the bottom of my heart thank you - it's comforting & helpful to me when I hear that others face the same struggles I do. I need to learn to ask for help (my take away). Dude.. I watch many of your videos as they are informative and I'm heading back to Florida in Sept from the UK. for vacation. But as I'm currently going through some anxiety struggles and coming out the other side just wanted to say thanks for being so honest with yourself and others and showing people it's OK and normal to go through this stuff and even more so to seek help where its needed. Among all your many great vlogs this one is probably the most valuable to date. Keep doing what you do well and much respect to you.

Thanks for being open and honest Kyle. We all have bad moments in life and when we overcome it we become stronger for the next obstacles in life. Nevermind the haters. They need that to function in life and are suffering from something themselves. They do that to make them feel better about their situation. When I have bad days I watch your videos (and Jojo’s) and I fell like I am at the parks with you and it’s helps. It really does. We all support you on your good and bad days. Keep up the good work brother

Hey Bro, lean into your fans. Ignore the haters. Depression is real. Good job recognizing it and you have to face it head on AND keep yourself busy and occupied and keep tabs on your intrusive thoughts. Finally, don’t hunt for things to be sad about instead highlight all of the great things you have going for you. Sometimes I don’t even take my own advice. It will get better. It ALWAYS does. Hang in there Bud. You’ve got fans and friends.

Ah Kyle thank you so much for posting this video. It’s so important for young men to have role models around mental health showing them that it’s ok to admit when they’re struggling, it’s ok to talk about it and it’s ok to ask for help. I’m so proud of you. I’ve watched you and your channel grow in size, scope, confidence and talent over the years and I’m loving your journey. It’s my hope to one day run in to you in the parks so I can share with you the personal way in which your videos have helped with my mental well-being. And I want to buy you a Starbucks to say thanks! Lol. Hi Kyle, this is the first ever post for me on you tube and because of my anxiety and putting myself out there, I was always afraid to comment on anything. However, after seeing this video, I felt like I needed to for myself. You have been such an inspiration to myself and my family! I had my second child during lockdown and a baby in the NICU. Ever since, my anxiety and depression has gotten worse and so has my husband's. During the lockdown, like many, I was at low point. Watching your videos daily truly got me out of my depression and helped reduce my anxiety. Disney for my family has brought so much happiness over the years and watching your vlogs helped us feel like we were down there again creating memories. Many of us feel like we are alone, but there are so many of us dealing with the same mental health struggles. For a while, I always cared about how people would view me and that created a lot of anxiety and panic attacks. I have since learned that I have to let things to go and that the people who "judge" have to look at themselves because it's clearly a "them problem". I've also learned to let things go and to now worry about things that I can't control, like how people view me or what they might say. At the end of the day, we all have to do what makes us happy. Please know that you are bringing so much good to everyone by being you that you don't even realize it. Not only does my family (including my 4 year old and 2 year old) watch you everyday, but you have inspired us so much. My son calls you the "Disney Guy" and says "Mommy, can we watch the "Disney Guy" before we do to bed." He also has anxiety and watching your videos has truly helped calm my son and has given him something to look forward to before he goes to bed and "relax on the couch" as he calls it! We started a small business up here in Massachusetts and are launching this fall and I don't think it would be possible had we not watched your videos and pushed through my own mental health struggles.I am also a Special Education teacher and have seen so much struggle with many children and their mental health that I feel like at this day in age, everyone needs to come together and be good people who help one another and not break each other. Negativity breeds negativity. You are a wonderful, kind, genuine person and don't let anyone tear you down. I realized that asking for help is not something to be ashamed of and that venting or crying is okay. We are all here for you Kyle and truly love what you do for everyone. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for helping my family in ways you don't even realize. I apologize for such a long comment! Blessings from New England :)

Kyle, thank you for making this video and raising awareness to mental health. For the past couple of weeks, I hit the lowest of lows. I've never experienced this before. I felt like I was drowning. I reached out to a counselor, my doctor, and also have been talking to a therapist. Two things I always struggle with is I always try to put others first and to make my decisions evolve around others to make them happy. But ultimately I have to make myself come first and make me happy!

The more people speak openly about their mental health, the more that stigma shrinks. I look forward to the day when mental health is as easily discussed as diabetes and heart health. If something in your body isn’t working quite right, there’s no shame in going to the doctor or a therapist to get some help. Thank you for using your platform to share your struggles and assist with normalizing mental health.

I’m glad too see that you’re vulnerable enough to open up about your mental health issues because it affects everyone and this will help somebody out one day. Being on the go for an entire month and then saying goodbye to the people that you love and care about can take a toll on a lot of people. Don’t let the haters get you down because then you are letting them win. Also, haters are just people who don’t want to see you succeed in life because they are throwing their own insecurities on to you. Please take as much time as you need to relax to focus on yourself. We are always here for you! ❤️

I’m happy to know that your able to work through them and push on and continue to find ways to take care of yourself. You have the right idea about turning off the news and do things that you enjoy. Take care of your own mental health first. You can't help others if you're in a bad state of mind yourself. I've been watching your videos for some time now. I look forward to my daily dose. But I'm aware that we only see a very small sliver of your day. There's a lot of your life that we never see. One thing I can tell you from the perspective of an older person is if you find a person that you consider your best friend, that you're happier with them than without them, a person who you love spending time with and doing things with, don't let go of that person. Life is too short to miss out on the time you can have with that person. Is Taylor that person? Only you know that. But if she is, don't let go of her. If she's not the one, then keep looking. Always make that the top priority in your life. You'll enjoy a lifelong relationship more than any career. It's like this... maybe you enjoy watching a Packers game, but you enjoy it even more when you're watching a Packers game with that best friend in the room with you. Take care of your mental health. Don't torture yourself unnecessarily. There you go. Find that special someone and hold on tight.

Talking about depression/anxiety should be normal. A LOT of people suffer from it and as you said, feel ashamed by how they feel that they don't want to talk about it. I live with anxiety/depression as well... and I stress I LIVE with it. I don't suffer. I talk about it when I am feeling down. I am honest with my friends/family/work about my mental state and am normalizing it in my own life. Often, people who have depression/anxiety are some of the strongest people out there, not the weakest. In a way, they battle their own brain on a daily basis just to function in the world and partake in social events etc. Glad to see that you reached out for help and are doing what you need to in order to feel better. Therapy is an amazing tool and should never be frowned upon.

I literally watch you every day to decompress. Just seeing you travel and visit the parks and opening your PO box ...is somewhat thereuputic for me . I don't think there's a person on the planet who doesn't struggle with something. I just find my faith in God and remaining focused on one day at a time helps...sometimes it's that one hour at a time. Keep up the great work .

Thank you so much for being open and honest! I love your videos and content, but I've never thought that you don't experience hard times or difficult emotions... you're human! Of course you share the highlights, that's part of what makes you successful on KZbin! I really appreciate your transparency, it makes you more relatable... not saying that's what this is all about, but I think showing some of your struggles is realistic and relatable ❤️ Keep going!! You are definitely appreciated!

I am so happy that I found you and your vlog! You are truly sweet, and I appreciate the vulnerability that you shared with your followers. Mental Health is truly part of the multi-dimentional health of a person, and our world needs more support of that! I have been a massage therapist for 25 years, and have been blessed to be able to support my clients - body, mind and spirit. Thank you for sharing

I think the important thing is recognising those down days, those not so fun days. My daughter has struggled with her mental health from the age of 10. She spent years in and out of hospital saying there was nothing wrong with her. She still has her struggles and always will but now she will say whe she needs the extra support or things aren't great. She hasn't been in hospital for five years. I am so proud of her each and every day. You do what helps you and never be ashamed of anything.

Also want to add that its especially nice to have a guy talking about these things, since that doesn't usually happen. I have 2 almost teenage sons... my 11 year old watched the Taylor Goodbye vlog with me the other day ( I think pretty Taylor caught his attention first HAHA but then he was actually into what was going on LOL ) And when you started crying, he was like "Man!! I hope hes gonna be ok... thats really sad...." . Anyway- it was just good for him to be able to see a guy showing emotions and talking about feeling sad, and seeing that its normal. So... these kinds of things are bigger than I think you even realize. Keep it up :-)

Being a content creator seems like a dream come true to pretty much everyone who doesn't do it. And like you acknowledged -- it mostly is. But just like with anything, there's pressure to provide -- for yourself or your family. Pressure to be the best. Pressure to constantly crank out new things that pretty much no one else is doing. Being your own boss in this kind of field is a dream come true but it is also unpredictable every day. I respect the hustle and grind, Kyle, and enjoy all the videos. Hope to meet you at Disney when my fam heads there in November!

Thank you for being so vulnerable with us. I know this isn’t easy to be so open, but know that we see you and are right there walking the same path. You are a genuine and kind and it comes through in all of what you share in your videos. Thank you for all that you, your efforts and ability to shine a bright light in the world. I’m about your age, and feel like I’m tuning into a friend daily, just to share life’s moments. (The great and maybe not so all the time, and that’s okay too!) I know it can be challenging but don’t feel the pressure to create or grind yourself into the ground. Find your sweet spot, and know that we tune in for you. Not Disney, or Universal, or anything like that. I love to see you live your life, with family and friends, even if it’s just a non-formal video watching Stranger Things! Lol. Its those moments that make me smile the most. So, you do you, sir. We’ll tune in for whatever you create and share. -Jen

Right out of college I became obsessed with my career. I just really wanted to do well. When work was going well, I was up. When work was going not so well, I was down. On the outside I was calm cool and collected. On the inside, I was a total mess. The littlest of things would cause me to lose entire nights of sleep. A few years and several promotions later, I realized that my obsession with my career was unsustainable because I was just so unhappy. Luckily, I met a girl. All of a sudden those little things that would keep me up at night weren’t very important. My happiness was no longer solely dependent on the day by day or hour by hour successes or failures at work. Even though that relationship only lasted 18 months, it made me realize the importance of balance. It’s been my commitment to balance that has gotten me through some tough times that would have otherwise been devastating. It’s been my commitment to balance that has allowed me to let go of some of the most desirable, but unhealthy choices , and hang on to things that were initially less desirable but ultimately the most healthy and beneficial. Seek that balance, Kyle, and you will live that life that you were meant to live.

Keep your head up kyle. Life is a journey, it is a crazy road. It is not a sprint, but a marathon. Its never too late for anything or anyone so take your time and take care of yourself in everything you do. Never be afraid to do what is best for you, because at the end of the day, you live with yourself forever. So learn to accept your flaws and differences and realize that no matter what, you have something more to live for and be happy for. Each night brings a new day man

Thank you for making a video like this. So many people, myself included, deal with mental health issues, but its seen largely as something people don't want to discuss. By bringing these topics up people can see they are not alone, and that its ok to get the help that they need, or to take the time for mental self care. We need to learn to care for our mental health just as we care for our physical wellbeing.
