I think health insurance was fast and loose in the old days. Pretty sure my parents just added me to their health insurance and they did a lot of tests on me when I came over. Companies didn't question it. No idea how foster care rules work especially with a kid from overseas.
@patmarrs8557 ай бұрын
For us //as Molly came over as a Foster child we were able to add her to our insurance without any issues also we started the paperwork for adoption right away. That was years ago, hoping it’s not difficult today as well.

I was adopted at 2 1/2 and I was so afraid of being left that I would make my mother leave her necklace or my fathers watch with me as a guarantee that they would come back for me. Unfortunately, I still have abandonment and trust issues. Your story was beautiful.
@mollymarrs9 күн бұрын
🥺 I'm sorry you struggled with that. Even though my parents are amazing I feel like I have trustworthy issues in regard to my friendships and the expectations I set upon them. It's honestly very rare for me to maintain the same group of friends for more than a couple years. I easily get jaded and feel a type of way when something happens that I don't agree with, or feel out of place. Especially in a city like LA it can be difficult to connect with genuine people. I usually have my guard up more than anyone. I used to super friendly with everyone and easily trusted those around. But The older I have gotten the more I realize i cannot do that. I do better with a circle of 3-4 really good friends. Thanks for watching my videos, I hope you find comfort in taking a small peak into my simple lil life 🥹

absolutely 🥹 I truly believe faith is what really helped me get through those challenging times. most importantly having faith helped me understand that this was who I was meant to be with. Being a young 12 year old girl I couldn't understand how my biological parents would not want me, their child & give me up for adoption. But I was too young to understand. Now that I am in my young adult years I'm very grateful my parents that a strong faith. It helped me in more ways than I could have ever imagined 🥹🙏

Unsolicited advice: as an interviewer, skillfully direct a conversation and don't interrupt. You might be new at this because you tend to interrupt and stop the flow of the conversation. It can be annoying to watch. That's all.
