I really like the mediation idea. There's one guided meditation I do and it involves going up a white marble tower while leaving things behind and eventually floating above the world to see things from a clearer perspective. So when I saw the tower I thought "omg"

IMPORTANT INFO FOR COMPETITION PARTICIPANTS: First of all: I messed up, one of the words are way too hard, I made an association to an association, and forgot it was not the original word. You therefore get it for free. The second word is KANGAROO. NEXT: it has come to my attention that people get valid bip0039 phrases that are not correct. In that case, it sucks having to wait for the blockchain to sync to find out if one’s guess is correct. Instead of using the official desktop client, a workaround that is much faster is to use the smartphone apps. See ravencoin.org/wallet/ for other supported wallets for iOS and Android! Also, pay attention to video description for upcoming hints!

@@phanhuynhtan About the association: it’s not really, I fucked up (thought the underlying word was Australia), I messed up, sorry 😱 But now that word is cleared. I’m on my cell rn, but will update if I find a faster app, so far mine on iOS seem to sync quicker but I’m on a train with bad mobile

Do you have any tutorials on how to use Unity to create a memory palace like this? I would love to learn how to create my own (to use for studying and classes). I looked and found an apartment kit that could be used to create furniture and rooms, but I really liked your memory palace more!

What a fantastic mix of concepts and cutting edge tech. I'm curious to know your thoughts on the true accuracy of this BCI. Have you tested to see that it truly is able to read your thoughts and not mostly being influenced by whatever is the closest and most central object for you to look at? Ideally you could create a test where there were dozens of gray orbs at various distances within a single 100 degree field of view but you decide face forward while instead focusing on one of the orbs that is at the very edge of your field of view off in the distance while you think about a specific object. Can it then reveal that object at that specific orb location or does it tend to just reveal whatever orb/object that is closer and more central in your fov?

Thanks! That is a great question! It comes with a demo application that is not in VR and you look at a flat screen. So in that case, there is an equal distance to the objects, and it very clearly isolates which one you are looking at. I think the tech is interesting, but at this stage, it doesn't give you anything that an eye tracker wouldn't, if you know what I mean. But it definitely works. What is within your field of view in VR only determines how many of the visual codes are activated.

So sounds like it can tell which orb you are focusing your thoughts on, which is amazing) but its not at a level were if you were to give the program images to those 2000 words it could determine which object you were actually think of and then reveal that specific object off the list?

I'm starting to think this might not be possible, even with all the clues from the memory palace. There are simple too many combinations, plus word association with items in the memory palace is very personal/individualized to its creator's thinking and experience. Seed phrase security is unbeatable! Not your key not your coin :D

I’m having a conversation with a friend who is struggling too. As I mentioned towards the end of the video, I will drop hints! It seems the possibilities was far too wide, I agree. Stay tuned, will pin a comment soon with a few hints :) I had no idea how hard this would be haha, was hard to set an appropriate difficulty. The goal is for someone else to get these coins, so stick with it, will provide some valuable clues as to my thinking process :)

Nice challenge! I'm signing into of empty wallets - would the balance be visible even before syncing headers? Otherwise, loading each wallet to check the balance could take a considerable amount of time...

As far as I understand it, incorrect guesses are highly unlikely to be compliant! So you’ll know if you get it right :) It won’t create a new wallet as the last of the 12 words functions as a checkphrase for the previous 11, which is unlikely one would get at random

Hmmm, no it's still in the wallet. I thought it would be very unlikely someone would generate a passcode that would be bip-0039 compliant (with last word as valid checksum) and thus opening a new wallet, by guessing words. But idk. The RVN is still here though!
