@simonsancartier74174 ай бұрын
@@Highlander1432 My building has lvl2 chargers so I usually charge overnight. Charges the same rate as the regular Ioniq 5 but with a slightly bigger battery. The DC charging I've done was about 20 minutes from 40-80% but that was at around 150kwh charging speed. The car can do up to 350kwh but we don't have such fast chargers in most places. Once set, you have your favourite two set-ups available at the press of one the steering wheel. Perfect if you ask me... PS: switching off speed limit warning is one long press on the steering wheel mute button.

Funny how heavy cars have now become normalised because it suits legislation. I vividly recall the likes of Mercedes being vilified in the 90s for building cars of the same mass. Now we have family cars of the same weight and the roads, oddly enough, will struggle. Good vid, lovely scenery, good production. As for the car, meh. Sad fact though, this is the same comment I’ve posted in two vids this evening. EVs weighing 2.2 tonnes cannot be the future, not if we want our roads to remain in one piece… A big Merc, or a Cayenne per your example is still relatively rare. But this EV ‘evolution’ is sending us off in utterly the wrong direction.

That last comment would be credible if you didn't prefere it to a Mach-e which is a bit taller and longer ;). @Gdank724 ай бұрын
Most EV's will do 0-60 in 7 Seconds or less. Therefore any small car with an EV motor will feel faster than Fiesta ST due to the instant torque. Hell even my little MG EV4 SE (that's the entry model) felt nippy. A Tesla Model 3 Performance second hand would be the same new and dwarf anything. Renault are doing the 5 again ... and while the launch models will be faster than the 80's originals, they will probably end up doing a GT (Turbo?) model. Let me ask you one question: do you think you are the one that drives the car around a corner?(hint: it isn't you, it is a computer that decided how the corner will happen because that's what cars with full wheel vectoring does, when the computer can decide 1000 times per second with which speed that corner will be taken; you're not the driver, you're just a passenger believing he is "the captain at the helm") there is a big difference to a driver's car; a driving enthusiast wouldn't be caught dead in such a pretender.
