My MINI Has Reached 100K Miles

179km on my 16 JCW f56, and the only mechanical “issue” I had was with the Vanos. It got somehow “stuck”, cel came on, and it started to misfire. My mechanic disassembled, and cleaned it, and it became fully operational again. No parts replaced in this regard. I have done only preventive maintenance other than that. Oil change, spark plugs mostly. “Minor” aesthetic problems happened that I was not expecting. However, no accidents. Anyhow, I love it to death. So far it is being great. It is stock. No performance mods.

Great video I am 💯 agree F56 are really reliable cars My previous Mini was Clubman S with 80000 miles not problems running really good only regular maintenance. Now I am Daily driving GP3 already with 19000 miles and nothing wrong.👍👍👍

151,000 miles on the r53...lots of replacements and upgrades...over all ....i love how it drives ....and once its painted will really be what ive always invisioned...

I think you hit the nail on the head regarding maintenance. Maintain it and it will take care of you. Own an F54S and F57 Justa for the last 3 years (second owners) and both are sticks. At almost 6 years old they are both still tight and reliable. Both are relatively low (

You should do a mini run in the Ozarks. I'm from Minnesota was there over the new year lots of twisties to enjoy. Recently traded my 2015 r61 for a 2020 jcw clubman. Wow 300 hP is nice. Also have a 2022 f57 currently in storage for the winter. Love the show thanks for all you do

I have a 2015 R57 S JCW and I just passed 79K. Love this fucking car and I had to do the spark plugs, lots of oil changes, and I’ve replaced 3 wheels because I drive like a madman. Also, I guarantee this man won’t get rid of it. You don’t get rid of Mini’s, you start collecting.

We have a UK 2015 F56 1.5t cooper. Owned from new. Only 50000 miles so far but we have only serviced it and replaced brakes and tyres. Plan to keep it at least till it’s 10th birthday.

2015 F56 bought it at 52k, at 71k right. You're right It does break in the longer you own it. No problems at all with proper fueling and Maintenance.

After 2015 BMW did fix a-lot of major reliability issues previous generation Minis were having. I owned a 2016 Countryman S for 4 years, driven about 30’000 km in that span! They are lot more reliable than people take them for; it always comes down to how the car is maintained, that’s where most Mini owners *Fail* Do proper oil changes, every 5’000 to 6’000 km change oil; For god sake change transmission fluids around every 75’000 km. There’s the main reason why so many Mini owners claim they are so unreliable. Because no one has actually properly serviced the transmission. If you don’t know how to maintain a car in general, don’t go buying German vehicles, you will put yourself in debt with your stupidity!

Hi !!! Today is Saturday, February 5, and We got a new Mini today! We got lucky and our Mini dealership contacted us because they got in a 2014 Mini Cooper Roadster in excellent condition. So we bought it today 😄 now we have a Coupe and a Roadster 😃

Thanks for this informative video. It's a good testimony to the build quality if it's racked up 100K with relatively no mechanical problems. The base F models are very ugly but the JCW and a properly modded one like yours do look good. The interiors are much better than the R models. Not a fan of the new facelifts. The rear bumper is too square and the majority of alloy wheel designs look garbage. Your right, prices are through the roof at the moment.

Who would've thought, when BMW put one of their own engines in the car it became far more reliable than when it had a Peugot engine in 🙂 I have a late 2018 Cooper S which is great, i only hope it is as long lived as my other ride. Also have a 2009 320d M-Sport estate BMW, which i have had for over a decade and now has 212k miles on it. The car still starts first time and runs exactly like it did when i bought it 🙂 An unbelievable car (320d) which i bought for 8000 notes UK.

@The Miniac did you have any door frame paint rub issue from rough door seals like my 2015 F56 and other 3 door F56's have suffered? It's quite common on the Mini forums.

Squeaks and rattles? Didn’t have any that were overly noticeable or concerning. It was a pretty quiet car in that standpoint.

We buy them expensive shoes (wheels and tyres), fill them with quality food (oil and gas, sometimes electricity), shower them with trinkets (new side scuttles, wirror caps, bonnet scoops), bathe them like the Egyptian queen Cleopatra, take them out and show them off (like a dork does with the prom queen), boost their confidence with complex surgical procedures / enhancements, and a bad one can be high maintenance, while a good one is hard to find. Lastly, some have more in the rear than they do up front (and vice versa). The defence rests, your honour.

Where did you get your vinyl wrap for the beltline molding. I did mine it seems like the hood does not cover that well having trouble with that area

still my mini cooper S 2017 AROUND 85 K , no problem, drain and change of disc plus front pad . I never get tired of it, I take care of it, only negative point, I'm looking for a way to make it firmer in the turns, otherwise it's a very reliable car
