Yes to more minimalism videos! Most of the videos I've watched about it is wardrobe-focused so it's nice to see other topics. Part of the ConMari Method of decluttering is that it's not about the items that you "need", it's about only keeping the items that bring you joy - so keep that Motley Crew pass for however long it brings you joy girl!

The last thing I want is to have to fit in to some kind of "group" of people who all claim to be a certain kind haha. I will always just be who I am and do minimalism the way that I want to. I have always had a "clean" style when it comes to clothing and interior design but there are minimalists who aren't into that at all. So I really hope the "community" is not one of those "YOU'RE NOT DOING IT RIGHT, YOU'RE NOT MINIMALIST ENOUGH" communities. That gets so boring so fast ^^ x

I have heard in the past that your perfume can be degraded by being exposed to too much sunlight, so I started keeping mine in the closet. It makes me a bit sad, because they are so pretty to have on display, but they do seem to retain their potency better than they had in the past. Just made me think of it, because yours were on the windowsill.

hi katrin love your videos, just wanted to mention that you might wanna move your perfumes away from the window, the light afects them badly even if its not sunny keeping them away from the light makes them last so much longer :)

I love watching a lot of makeup declutter series.THANK YOU for NOT giving away/selling old used makeup. I really hated when I see young beauty makeup YTber saying she will give it or sell it on...etc. I am glad you stated its (highly) unhygienic. Two years ago my friend nearly lost her perfect complexion by using someone's used face makeup. Luckily she was working with me at the time, I told her to immediately go wash her face, put on aloe vera cream and throw out that cream and any other makeup that was used. She got her clear complexion back after two weeks. I've known my friend for 7 years now, she always does the same makeup face everyday, she doesn't have sensitive skin, it was definitely a bacterial infection from the used makeup and broke her out. BE WARNED don't use other people's makeup!

This made me declutter my makeup and especially my nail polishes all over again. Even though I haven't bought anything for a long time (unless I ran out) I still feel like I have a lot. Get two containers and put all your makeup in one. Continue to use your makeup as usual, but when you use a product, move it to the empty container. After like a month, throw away what was in the originally full container, because yours not using them.

My absolute favorite perfume is Burberry (the plain one in a tan box with silver detailing). It's very subtle and mature, but more on the toned down musky vanilla!!

Chanel does some really nice perfumes, and you can generally get samples to test out before buying if you are anywhere near a store. Also Jo Malone generally has a good selection of spicy yet fresh scents. Hope that helps!

Some of my favorite perfumes are the Bvlgari Omnia ones. There's a more floral one, a more spicy one, a more fresh one, etc. My favorite is Crystalline because it smells really feminine while still smelling fresh. Maybe look into one of those. Loved your video! I'm also a box hoarder haha.

A fragrance that I really love is Sauvage. It's a men's cologne, but it has a spicy/warm/fresh scent that you might enjoy. Also Tokyo Dark makes some great alternative fragrances that might intrigue you as well!

Elizabeth and James Nirvana Rose perfume. All time favorite scent ever. I thought Elizabeth and James White was it for me and that the brands scents couldn't get better but I was proven wrong. BOX HOARDING IS A REALLY BIG DEAL!!! I have shoe boxes full of things I haven't looked at in months, but never wanted to throw them away because 'I might need them one day and as soon as I throw it out I'll need something' I gave in and threw them out without opening them. I did that a month ago, and I haven't needed anything I couldn't rebuy.

I used to have tons of makeup, and now I only own a concealer and eyebrow powder! You should try Escada - Magnetism for perfume! It's not particularly spicy, but it's kind of "heavy", but still sweet and warm. It's also an eau de toilette and not an eau de perfume, but I've found the lasting power to be quite good!

Definitely need to declutter my makeup soon. Usually every 3-6 months I will do a big declutter of my clothing, the only part that SUCKS is when you get rid of something that you never wear and then literally a month later you have an occasion where that item would have been perfect haha. But it's still a good thing to do! :)

Guerlain My Insolence/Insolence is amazing. There are two different versions of it - one dark for night time and one light for day time, but obvisouly you can mix it however. Anyhow, when I wear the perfume I always get compliments on it, and the scent is this wierd combo of some more heavy, spicy fragrance, but at the same time very feminine and light.

Have you had a smell of Lush perfumes? They are so different I love them. For spicy but fresh... I would recommend possibly Sikkam girls or they had a perfume called ginger which was amazing!

I love Dior Bloomin' Bouquet. Or the new whatever bouquet scent. They're sort of sharp but light after it "settles in". I love musky and really light fresh scents at the same time so I'm also a bit picky and I love my Dior.

Ive heard marc jacobs daisy is good. a tip on sniffing in store is go to bath and body works if theyre in sweden, grab a bunch of their little smell papers that allow you to spray their body sprays on to smell individually. and if you dont use them in bath and body works take them when you go perfume shopping. they allow you to smell each perfume individually on each sheet

Try Versace Eros pour femme. I think it smells similar to what you're looking for. But I could be wrong. Also I love this series, it's really inspiring. My problem is that I'm constantly thorn between minimalism and hoarding 😩, so I never know what to do and I always regret my decisions (in regards of keeping things) 😂.

When you're perfume shopping, take some coffee to smell in between testing the different scents. The coffee will neutralise the first perfume and you can move on to the next one 🙂
