Regarding the Blue Zones described at 10:00, since this video came out it's been discovered that the long lives of people in Blue Zones is based on fraudulent data, and the "extremely old" people were actually dead but their deaths were never recorded. Some of it was fraud so descendants could continue to collect the dead relative's benefits. Some was because the region just wasn't good at record keeping.

Most things look very good to simplify your chores in the house. I would love a robot vacuum cleaner because like you I hate vacuuming 🤣 but they are way too expensive for me. The only thing I’m really surprised about are the coffee table books, I would just never expect them in your house 🫣. I do have some myself as well and I just love to have them. I have several different ones and it’s just nice to scroll through them now and then and every couple of months I will change them for some other ones. This way all year through there is something nice to look at 😊.

I bought the exact same cleaning scrubber! It’s been so great! It’s a game changer for sure, but I agree with the voice aspect of it 😅

So you're telling me to hire a cleaning service.. good idea! :) I'll seriously get on that! Seriously, I will! Great video! I think this is one of the reasons why I've been experiencing severe depression. The more you spoke about balance and a clean/tidy/organized environment, the more peace came over me.. does that make sense?

My problem is I have minimized but I have things that are brand new in boxes that I have been trying to sell because I need the money. Throwing stuff away is so wasteful so I feel like if I can't sell them straight away. I should just keep stuff and try again later. It's mainly electrical stuff like for example brand new hair straighteners and curlers. I'm also thinking I might use them one day 🙄.

I don't where ut would fit, I related to much of this. As a kid, we lived in a severely abusive life wuth our mother, mostly when dad was at work Severe, severe beatings, with physical injures. Our life was totally cluttered in EVERY way. We had very little things, very little clothing, and had bad names called in bullying and avoidance at school. My family after marriage didn't experience this at all.. But after becoming widowed, I am budgeted, but I have lots of clothes, and if I like something, and have the money, I get it. I love to have what I never had. I don't keep trash, but do have more than enough.

And can we acknowledge Yoga's Asian/Global South/Indigenous roots to reduce "white-washing"? Fariha Róisín's book, Who Is Wellness For: An Examination of Wellness Culture and Who It Leaves Behind, is a really good read for that!

The power of the tiny little shift, the tiny little change cannot be understated. As someone on the journey out of full-stop burnout, the tiny change has been the crux of success for me. Excellent video. Thank you.

To be honest this was a very difficult video for me. Just all these examples of yoga and how you can interpret them in your daily life didn’t click with me. I’m sorry 🫣 but I just didn’t get it.

Can totally imagine the Mia Danielle Show on NPR, such a professional & flawless presentation, expressive & engaging. Based on a script creating complete clarity on a subject distilled into 20mins.

Just LOVE your channel. Peaceful, calm, brilliantly done…. I don’t like yoga or meditation (except for guided meditation) and yes, I have tried it several times. And still loved this video :) Love from Los Angeles (the kingdom of yoga and meditation- Lol).

Your new scheduling of every other week is very nice. It seems the content is more helpful. The pressure of coming up with something every week would be hard. I watch several tubers. Seems like content is sometimes repetitive Appreciate new ideas / thoughts

Have you looked at urban decays 24/7 single eyeshadow in tease? It was my favorite shade from one of the urban decay palette and seems to be maybe a similar shade to what you’re looking for!

I go through my house 1 or 2 times a year and declutter. I'm working on decluttering my office this week. Last week I started by replacing a storage rack with a smaller shelving unit. It forced me to declutter a lot.

I have a donation box I keep in my office. I just dropped off a donation bag off at Staples.

I have one rogue sheet. We have a camper in the Western part of the state. I replaced the mattress because camper mattresses are super uncomfortable. The sheet went from the older one to the newer one. It didn't fit. I will be donating it to the SPCA along with some old towels.

I rearranged my kitchen into systems. The coffee station is by the fridge. I have my pot holders next to my stove along with my pots and pans. My spices are on a wheeled cart that can be moved to my baking area or sit by the stove. My grocery list is a running list on my phone. My dog has a run outside our back door. I put her on it and let her sniff, run, potty, or whatever.

We started decluttering by creating 2 boxes...keep and throw. We went through 1 box daily. I was excited and sped it up. I don't know how much I decluttered that year, but my office went from a store room overflowing with stuff to an actual office. Every year since then I have weeded more stuff out annually. It is hard to believe this is the same house.

Every weekend I unload boxes of stuff. Im trying to get my husband to put things away. I gave him major hints this past week. He likes the reorganization of our kitchen. He said it's much easier to get ready in the morning. We'll see.

I decluttered my kitchen and tossed a bunch of nasty cleaning supplies. My husband was thrilled to see the gross stuff leaving. He loves when I declutter. It inspires him to get rid of stuff. I donated old glasses to the Lions Club. I tossed my mascara and ordered new mascara. I also tossed moisturizers. They get gross. My glasses turn dark when I go outside, so no special sunglasses. I got my dog a new cage. She outgrew the other one. I'll be donating the smaller cage to the SPCA.
